If Stafford is playing again, do the Rams again swap for a future #1?

The Rams have to be prepared for his retirement. They also need to have him play as long as possible.
If the Rams aren't going QB in round 1, I can see a trade down with the Atlanta pick to get a later 1st and a future #1. It all depends on how high that pick ends up being.

For example, if the pick was #12, that equates to #21 + future 1st if a team is looking to move up for a blue chip difference maker.

I would have been okay with a lesser pick if they had beaten the whiners.

That feels like the ceiling to me.

B. Robinson got shut down last week.He is the 1 player helps keep them a float.
The QB issue is going to hurt them & they’ll probably regress ?
-Z.Robinson is going to have his hands full try to call there offense.

Currently the Falcons are picking #13.

It feels like the Vikings, Ravens, and Commodes have the best chance to pull past them.

Maybe the Giants and Cardinals.

The Falcons could be #7-9 probably best case?

The Ramsey example leans into my point. Notice the way they tend to get CBs? Trades, the occasional free agent, and mid to late round draft picks.

I find it telling that in 9 years, they've had 24 1st to 3rd round picks, they havent used one 1st or 2nd round pick on the position, and only one 3rd has been used on a CB.
The Rams really paid up to keep Tru Johnson because they didn’t draft any CB’s really since Les Snead’s rookie year as GM.They got a nice COMP Pick for him though.

Then traded for Marcus Peters from KC(2nd & 4th)

2018 still traded AQib Talib who was the perfect VET to help mentor
Peter’s.

That year Les Snead made an excellent in season trade to get Dante Fowler.

IMO - the in season trades over the years has been a Les Snead special.
Von Miller trade & signing of OBJ helped out The Rams over the Top.
Of course Eric Weedle will be in the HOF,because of what he did to help The Rams out of retirement.

Of course Mark Barron is another example. The drafting of Cobie Durant has worked out.Kendrick starting with Ramsey though was wishful thinking by McSnead.

Ahkello Whiterspoon has meant a lot The Rams.He imo has meant a lot to The Rams. They messed up not signing him as a FA in 2024 until the season was a mistake.I still BELIEVE he will comeback in 2025 & will make a positive impact
to help the defense.
Roger McCreary was an excellent trade especially if the above is or isn’t true. His CB play is just what The Rams have needed. His Highlight Tapes shows his Tackling Skills & his underneath coverage in the MIDDLE!!
Omar Speights is SLOW getting into the flat, but examples of Manuel last week getting balled up Like a Pretzel.Plus when Ahkello got hurt.Durant is small, plus Williams just got his shoulder hurt.
The depth a CB is young.Josh Wallace is still finding himself.Jaylen looks slower than in 2024.
This TRADE made to much sense to help fill that VOID!! In the Miners Game The Rams got exposed on the quick drop back passes underneath.

Totally AGREE!!! Let not say the Chit Birds please. That might not be good for The Rams.2 wins is important..Anything less might help The Rams move closer to picking earlier.

The Giants IMO are done.QB has head issues & there STUD RB is out for the season. NABERS just had surgery for ACL-MCL and out for awhile.Tough luck.

Still imo The Rams get a Top 10 pick from Atlanta depending on there QB’s health.

I'd rather get a guy in the building and let him learn under Staff for a year or 2. Lot of good traits he can pass on.

I fully expect Ravens, Giants, Cards, and commodes to have more wins then Falcons. Tankathon has ATL pick at 12 currently, so I could see pick 8 as a real possibility. Dolphins have shown that they can win games, but they can also implode in any game. After they fire their coach, I think they could go on a mini run. I think 6 is best case, but would bet on 8-9.

Next two games it is highly likely the Falcons lose. We need that to happen. And from there if they can lose to the Saints (or the Panthers) maybe they disintegrate.

If they lose just the toughest games they're looking at around 10 losses. But if they lose their division matchups too, things can get spicy for us.
