What? You didn't like the Robinson Quick and Givens picks?Todd Gurley was a Fisher pick
You can't have a great defense when the offenses best player is the punter.'Nasty' ... I would agree but none of those Defensive Units were better than good, in my opinion.
Too damn inconsistent and undisciplined given how much resources the Rams put into that side-of-the-ball.
None of the Rams' Defensive Units when Fisher was the Head Coach finished in the top-10 in points allowed.
Not one was better than 13th (out of 32 teams). In fact from 2012-2015, the Rams were between 13th - 16th every season in points allowed. That's just a shade better than League-average.
If the Rams had played top-5-to-10 Defense, even with a conservative and limited Offense, some of those seven-win seasons might have been playoff seasons.

The Ramsey example leans into my point. Notice the way they tend to get CBs? Trades, the occasional free agent, and mid to late round draft picks.I wouldn't doubt Snead... he traded two #1 picks for Ramsey so he knows that value of a shutdown corner. And this year the Rams have no choice but to draft a good one.
IMO, we have a badass LT. CB or WR and a QB would be my guess.my hope is a badass LT AND a fantastic corner with the #1's ...
and mcvay always seems to go for the dedicated high cerebral player....
i can wait cuz first things first... can you say superbowl?
go rams

The problem with our badass LT is when is the blood thinners going to cause an issue with him playing.IMO, we have a badass LT. CB or WR and a QB would be my guess.

Yeah but I didn't want him when he was picked so there is that.To be fair to Givens, he had a decent rookie year, and he was a fourth-round pick. He was okay. Not special, but okay for where we got him.
Robinson and Quick on the other hand? Bleh.
Yeah but I didn't want him when he was picked so there is that.
I’m grateful it seems to be getting managed so well. I remember before the season worrying whether we’d have him, or Stafford. The problem with our badass LT is when is the blood thinners going to cause an issue with him playing.
Yeah but I am usually correct in my assessments.I didn't want John Johnson III when he was picked. He still managed to change my mind.
Chris Givens was actually an okay fourth-round pick. Most fourth-round picks don't do shit in the pros (see Mardy Gilyard, as much as I like the guy as a person, was not a good pro player; hell, the wide receiver we just picked up for our practice squad who's been bouncing around, Tyler Scott, was a late fourth for the Bears) or don't even have the year Givens had as a rookie.
Some how that name darkens my doorstep once again. Forever haunted.Quick on the other hand? Bleh.
Remind you of anything? Couldn't find the actual one. Some how that name darkens my doorstep once again. Forever haunted.
He was actually a really nice deep threat. To be fair to Givens, he had a decent rookie year, and he was a fourth-round pick. He was okay. Not special, but okay for where we got him.
