Hockenson just returned from his December 2023 knee injury (from the same POS Lions player no less). Probably a good comp to Hav timeline. But Higbee tore his ACL and MCL

Yeah but MCL is like a 2 month deal so that shouldn't make recovery longer necessarily. But Higbee tore his ACL and MCL
Yep. Tag Jackson to keep him around one more year. Take a shot in the draft on a LT. If you hit then Jackson rolls out in the 2026 offseason and you draft a RT or sign one. If you miss he goes to RT.We can draft his successor who doesn't have to start in 2025 this draft. Even better if he can be a swing tackle backup.
That organizationI heard that the chefs were able to steal the jets' PK who was expected to fill in for Greg The Leg for a few more weeks because the asshats in the jets' management forgot to remove him from their practice squad roster. LOL... so KC was allowed to snatch him off of the jets 53.
Idiots.
So the jets had to find another replacement for their replacement.
The Jets, Giants, Panthers and Browns are the worse run teams in the NFL. Cincinnati is close but they have a great QB, WR and decent defense. The Lions used to be the worst until they hired a Ram to run them.I heard that the chefs were able to steal the jets' PK who was expected to fill in for Greg The Leg for a few more weeks because the asshats in the jets' management forgot to remove him from their practice squad roster. Bears might be the worst of allThe Jets, Giants, Panthers and Browns are the worse run teams in the NFL. Cincinnati is close but they have a great QB, WR and decent defense. The Lions used to be the worst until they hired a Ram to run them.
Yup, add them to that list and probably Indy too with that owner.Bears might be the worst of all
I think there’s a common thread. That’s Ownership, in my opinion. The Jets, Giants, Panthers and Browns are the worse run teams in the NFL. Cincinnati is close ...

Too involved in decision-making.
Live in NYC, and have seen many examples. And the two owners are totally different old billionaires.
I consider Mara to be a terrific guy; and Johnson kind of an asshole. But they both make the mistake of, at times , being too involved in critical team decisions.
It was Haslam that drove the Watson trade and fully guaranteed contract. Mike Brown in Cincinnati operates his team like it’s the 1970s when owners held almost all the power. Tepper may have been the decision-maker in Young over Stroud.
Hire quality Football People ... and ... let them make the decisions.
I wonder if these powerful men were to take a loved-one to a medical expert who recommends brain surgery. But then these assholes thinking they know more and better, decide to just leave Mr. Tumor where it is.
unfortunately, most CEOs think they are the smartest person in the room."It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do"

It's nice that the Browns have kept former Dodger Exec Paul DePodesta for over 8 years to help them make decisions - glad he left the Dodgers alone.Hire quality Football People ... and ... let them make the decisions.
