Twelve Angry Men ... one of my all-time favorite movies.
know you're a Burden fan but from what I'm hearing about the character stuff and down to down effort, sure sounds like he's not worth it
I like this trade down a lot, not necessarily the options you took. I'd be good with Burden, but, IMO, I wouldn't take a RB. Arroyo, M.Taylor, or the best MLB/CB I think would have a much greater impact on this season. I do like Judkins and think hes a good back, but, I also think we already have 2 good backs.Trade #26 overall and #101 overall to the Chicago Bears for #39 overall and #41 overall. Take Quinshon Judkins and Luther Burden III with those picks.
Profit.
I could, trading up for a QB.I can't think of any worse result than trading up in the 1st especially for a TE or RB.
Give me Arroyo, Fannin or Ferguson later and we're very well off.
QB is the most important position in would get that. Wouldn't be happy but I get it. Also would signal this could be Staffords last year.I could, trading up for a QB.

So character is bullshit (I take this to mean you don't care about his mental and emotional makeup), down to down effort is a concern and he hasn't been asked to block...Character is bullshit, speaking as a Mizzou fan who has paid attention to LB3's career from the start. If anything, he's like OBJ in terms of character, and McVay more than made it work with him. Down-to-down effort is a concern, but he's never been asked to block at Mizzou, since most of the touches went to him.
Hahaha... who's gonna trade a third for KW when the draft class has life 12-15 potential starters.Would it be better if we traded K-Will for a third-round pick in this class?
Thinking Fannin is an option as well.
I'm saying character is bullshit. I don't know where they're coming up with character concerns for LB3, but he's been a model citizen at Mizzou, and he's worked his ass off to get where he is today, in the weight room, in the film room, etc., and his coaches and teammates rave about his character. Is he a diva? Sure, a bit, but you could've said the same thing about damn near every receiver that's come out, including OBJ, D-Jax, etc., and McVay hasn't shown a hesitance to pick them up.So character is bullshit (I take this to mean you don't care about his mental and emotional makeup), down to down effort is a concern and he hasn't been asked to block...
I think you've said it all.

I don't want a guy who takes plays off like he does and doesn't run more than 2 routes.I'm saying character is bullshit. But on his talent? He doesn't drop targets thrown to him, and he's had the most amount of passes thrown to him at the Division 1 level other than McMillan. Game-breaking speed and YAC. Would you throw to anyone else when the talent isn't there? He hasn't been asked to block because if Brady Cook/Drew Pyne didn't throw to him, it was to Theo Wease on the other side. He blocked on running downs, obviously, even though it isn't his strength.
I'm not saying LB3 doesn't have flaws, but he's one of my favorite receivers to come out of Mizzou in some time for a reason, and I think the "character concerns" (and remember, Micah Parsons had supposed "character issues") have been overblown to a ridiculous degree. Take it from someone who has followed his entire career: his character is not to the point where it's a concern.
I'm not saying the bottom-feeder teams. I'm talking about someone like Denver or Kansas City that could use a solid veteran.
If Chicago would be that foolish do it. Just dont see it unless they want someone like OHampton real bad and they r available at R1.26.Trade #26 overall and #101 overall to the Chicago Bears for #39 overall and #41 overall. Take Quinshon Judkins and Luther Burden III with those picks.
Profit.

ABSOLUTELY. I'd take that offer in an instant. Then I'd be all over a back in this draft. We would escape from having to sign a large extension and, honestly, I think there are several back in this draft that can give us similar production, potentially better. Not to mention, I'm still high on Corum.Would it be better if we traded K-Will for a third-round pick in this class?
