I would give Claiborne a 1 year deal before I signed Tru to a ridiculous deal. I would be in favor of a 1 year deal with Tru long as its not over 10 mill

Before Waufle Quinn was a guy who didn't even dress on a few games his rookie year. Before injuries took over he was one of the best DEs in the league. Brockers was raw. He is a very solid DT. I feel Donald would have been good if I were the line coach. Then you have Hayes who developed nicely along with other contributors. The Rams thought so much of Greg Robinson's talent that they picked him over Donald. They compared him to Pace. Maybe if they had a coach of Waufle's level on offensive line they would have developed him too.

Whenever an "injustice" is done to the Seahawks, their fans want immediate rule changes. Their fan base is about as clueless as it gets. I laugh when I see some of their fans complain about being screwed. Talk about an entitled fan base.

I imagine he's built a base one, and it incorporates a lot of the Gruden concepts as well as the Shanahan ones he has learned. He's a very interesting mix in that aspect.

Then I imagine as he watches film and talks to Goff and sees what our players can run, what Goff likes and doesn't like, it'll further evolve.

I am sure teams around the league aren't big fans of that, however many times when you hear a scoop on ESPN it's because some coach or front office minion blabbed, so while I would never condone it I believe that type of thing happens all the time and they just don't get caught.

The dude is clearly not a centered, mature, and positive member of society. He's got a little bit of a screw loose somewhere in that vacuum between his ears. Should that eliminate him from coaching our OL?

If I were in McVay's shoes, the leak would concern me more than the life lesson he taught those kids. I do think both were wrong, and stupid. But if the dude looked me in the eyes and told me he's onboard, and I felt he's learned something from them, that what he tells me is genuine, then I would be willing to consider him for that job. Some of my best people have mistakes, some of them big, in their past careers. If you want to be a team builder you cannot over-focus on the negatives IMO.

A lot of people who are affluent won't let their kids play football, or any violent sports for that matter. Funny how that works. But he's full of BS, because when he was young he was hungry as F and full of p!$$ and vinegar and wouldn't have cared.

And if he did somehow avoid playing, he would have been just another guy instead of a megastar. It would have been a waste, because pound for pound I have never seen a dude run the ball like he did. His talent was off the MFing charts. Only guy that compares for his era was obviously Brown.

My counter argument is that had he played football the way he was built for, he probably would have been the greatest running back of all time. But he's not, rather he's a megastar known for two sports excellence. Which is better? I'd rather be the greatest RB of all time, personally.

Tom Brady didn't deserve that win. He didn't play well. He got lucky that the opposing QB was pure garbage.

It's funny you mention that. I've noticed that too... despite a whole lot of things to digest as a starter, he seems very in tune with the play clock.

That kind of awareness is good to see. It demonstrates to me that he is capable of processing multiple things simultaneously and that it's only a matter of experience for Goff.

It's doable. Trading Austin, Hayes, and Robinson saves us a lot of money in dead cap.

Rams running back Todd Gurley had not heard the news.

Then he got a text from quarterback Jared Goff.

“You’re going to like him,” Goff wrote.

“What are you talking about?’’ Gurley responded.

NFL offensive rookie of the year rushed for only 885 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games, a struggle after gaining 1,106 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns the previous season.

So he welcomes McVay, who as the Washington Redskins’ offensive coordinator directed the NFL’s third-best offense this season.

Gurley said that he has followed the development of Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins and that Redskins running back Keith Marshall, a former Georgia teammate, also spoke highly of McVay.

“He said, ‘You’re going to love him,’ ” Gurley said.
