Not necessarily. But unless the Rams trade up there should be about 19 2nd round selections before they'd have a shot at him.

And with the Donald news, I'm not sure any WR would be a 2nd round option now.

My guess is that Hoecht will move back inside and take over Jonahs spot. So I mean if we do move hoecht back inside, that gives us 4 D linemen going into the draft.

Im guessing we add 2 from the draft.. so that gives us a 6 man rotation... maybe add a cheap vet and an udfa or 2 for the practice squad

We can put together a nice D line...young... and versatile...

Agreed. I think they knew 2 years ago when he flirted with retirement that his time with them was coming to an end and started planning for next steps. Kobie Turner is no AD but he's a pretty good consolation prize.

No trades, we have a solid base. Just draft, draft and draft.
The correct way to build a team for long term success.
Trade up or down for picks.
But no vets looking to cash in.

If you like him as a prospect, that’s great. I’m not rejecting him.

He played in 62 games in college and he totaled 5 sacks so, whatever PFF is saying, it’s not based on production.

He’s an elite prospect as a run defender. I don’t think he’s a complete player.

All that said, I’d be happy with him in Round 2, were he to last.

Yep. And the lesson is there's a point where it's not healthy for men to listen to women. To include their podcasts. Where you're better off tuning them out.

Now I know some will get all bent out of shape at such a suggestion. But it's true. We're wired differently. A little tuning out can be healthy on both sides of that coin.

That has got to happen in this draft, deep class, but you’ll have to pull the trigger in the 3rd to get one I think could be special. Wilson from FSU catches my eye for a 3rd round gym. 6’ 6” and pretty fast.

The draft is the best way. As great as Donald was, I don't think it's ideal to have a $25M-30M a yr DT on your roster.

sometimes the best "scout" is a rival teams backup QB. could be much worse. how does russell "ragdoll" wilson sound as a clipboard holder?? i'll take Jimmy Crappolo over that. of course, if ole ragdoll was the practice QB, maybe AD99 returns for camp.

Oh yeah, totally missed the "per game" part. Eek, yeah that could get ugly. That'd basically mean we're paying him more, just a different way of pushing that to next year. Will have to see what the final determination is on that before judging.

When Jackson signed with the Rams Goff said "aw fuck". Stafford then called Goff and said "how do you like me now"? This o-line has the potential to be the best in the league for the next 3 years as long as we adequately address tackle positions eventually.
