The Cowboys game was the big confidence builder. The Jags was also big in that they won when the offense wasn't really productive. The timing of hitting the Giants,Texans and the Saints all with injuries was good fortune. The West was not a powerhouse division which helped. You never know how the schedule will play out each year. I suspect 2018 will be a little harder even if 2017 looked hard before the.

I don't either. Every PSU fan I know was angry about the sanctions and even angrier that the PSU board proposed them. The board overreacted out of self defense. The were worried it would get out that some of them were in the know about Sandusky's deeds. Either way they took responsibility. Many MSU officials are still in denial.

Now I agree that sanctioning any school for the misdeeds of a few is absurdly unjust. Why punish the fans? Why punish players and coaches that had nothing to do with it? It makes no sense, yet many wanted PSU football wiped from the planet. I couldn't understand it. As an alumni and can I was expected to be ashamed, even though I never did anything wrong. Idiots asked me which college team I would root for now. It was bad. People would tell me that I just didn't get it. They were wrong. They didn't get it. I think as time passed they did though.

It's a helluva puzzle. I guarantee we won't enter 2019 with all five being paid. So some draft capital has to be spent at the very least mid to late rounds in this draft, and I would guess they pay a future piece or two now knowing some of the others will drop off the cap radar down the road.

I would think that a good amount of draft assets will be utilized to beef up a very weak in Talent & Skill & in overall numbers in the OL reserve cadre. The only viable OL reserve is Austin Blythe. We know that RFA Darrell Williams is a one post OL'er {OLT} & he has no future as a starter here which makes him close to worthless in the overall plan.

Rams will have six last day draft selections available to do what needs to be done. I would look for @ least 2 OT's to be drafted maybe 3. Snead has already let that be known. If 2 of the 4 current starters bolt for bigger $$$ they (Snead/McVay) will just have to keep drafting OL'ers in the coming drafts. But I would almost guarantee that a non Ram veteran starting UFA OL'er will enter the picture @ some point. Goff can not function behind a poor OL so all those expensive contracted offensive play toys will be useless without a highly functioning OL.

If a guy can take 2 steps at the 5 yd line, jump in the air, cross the plane and it still not be a catch, we just need to tear up the rule book and start over.

Personally, I do not. He plays with great effort for a man his size, he already shows awareness that you expect from NFL DTs, and his hand usage is advanced for a college NT. He seems like a kid who works quite hard to me. But you never know.

It's the Horns' 'gate that would have really damaged the general public's perception of the NFL if it came out because the league itself was involved.

4-6 round with a good combine....I would not mind him in the 5th, if McVay really likes him. Again the question is, how much does McVay like Brandon Allen? Allen IMO, had worked with Greg Olson so I have a feeling they claimed him based on Olson's suggestion. If the Rams like Allen, I don't see them drafting somebody late, however, if McVay likes someone else, the Rams could draft one.

Quarterbacks are like pitchers, you can never have too many and some you can trade them for draft choices, something the damn Patriots have done well with, except on their last transaction.

The Mike Thomas block/Blake Countess scoop was my favorite. I love the energy and passion these guys have, even though I can't understand anything they say.

Great thread. Most of the stuff that got to me has already been posted. Trilogy of terror was another one that phucked me up pretty good, as was The Amityville Horror. Prince of Darkness was pretty good too. David Lynch flicks have a way of getting into my psyche and staying there past their welcome.
