Peter King: MMQB - 3/19/18

"You have no idea what I've been through the last two days."
Wow.
So brutal and tough. You have to field phone calls and texts to profit a nice percentage on a huge NFL contract....a contract that has nothing to do you your skill or abilities.
What a twat that agent is.

Peter King is a person who forms his opinions in a vacuum of his own sucking.

Half the NFL could have a different Week One starting quarterback in 2018

theres a couple on there that are slighty dubious

Watson would have been starting all year if he hadn't got injured same for philly ..

but agree good to be out of that looking for a QB group
Except even healthy he wasn’t the day 1 starter. I agree the Philly one is a stretch and so is Miami.
It is amazing how many qb will be suiting up for their new team however and it’s awesome that the Rams aren’t in the conversation

Jets trade up to #3

Browns the big winners of this. Pick your QB at 1 and have your choice of any non QB at 4.

I'm not sure, I've got the top 3 QBs as interchangeable this year, not 1 guy I'm inn favour of, my pecking order keeps changing. I'd probably go with Barkley at #1 after seeing the damage that Gurley did last year then pick the best QB at #4 or test the water and move back from #1 for a QB desperate team?

Vinny Curry [No Longer Available] and Jonathan Hankins Available

If you add Hankins to the Defensive Line, then the Rams arguably have a top three secondary as a top five DL. Why wouldn't you want to do that?

Windows close fast in the NFL. Jump on this one before another drought comes along.

I hate that Hankins is visiting the Redskins first - too often the first team just doesn't let a free agent leave without a deal. I hope Snead is in Hankins' agent's ear telling him how good it would be for his career to be lined up next to Donald and in front of that secondary.

Colin Cowherd on Losing Watkins

View attachment 24246

3 hours ago on Sammy’s iG. Doesn’t have any other clothes or what? Lol

I dont get the reason for posting this kind of photo on Instagram. Boring. No purpose other than to feed a narcissistic attitude. Maybe theres something not seen going on in the background that gives some context but I just dont get it. And I realize I don't have to get it. Its his deal.

There has been alot of debate over his leaving but until we hear the leaked numbers we really don't know the truth. If the rams offerred him 10 mil then who can call him a me guy when kc is throwing 16 his way. If the rams were offering 13 or 14, its still 6 to 9 mil difference over 3 years so each to their own opinion on how to see that, but if it was 13 or 14, and I believe it was at least 12 for snead to say he was confident in signing him and mcvay to say that there were a lot of teams with high numbers, and because of the time involved in negotiations, then that is top 12 or top 10 money and those teams expect that kind of impact, not just stats, but overall impact on their offense.

The offer tells us just how important they viewed Sammy and how hard they think it will be to replace him.

O.J. Simpson is released from prison

dont think he did it,
train
Lol. I would love to hear your theory of who did then... and why....and....never mind....not even worth it.

I stumbled upon that "Lost Confession" special last week and there was about a 5-6 minute part of that interview that was absolutely chilling. He essentially describes how he murdered his wife and Dan Goldman. No "hypothetical" about it. It was hard to watch.

Rams give Robert Woods bonus money for missing week 17

I'm sure this plays well with the entire team.

Sigh. So at what point is a good deed simply a good deed? They didn't have to do it. It was the right thing to do and they did it. And yes - it would have changed their profit picture by exactly $200,000*

That's what I am saying, it was the right thing to do since they prevented him from earning it in the first place by sitting him. They didn't have to but they did. 200K is like change in the sofa to an NFL franchise these days, but a lot to a player.

You remember when Holmgren benched Alexander when he got a few yards away from earning a big bonus some years back? That did not go over well. I think they found a way to take care of him but it was a bad move.

Rams tried to sign Eifert

I figured that but I'd be shocked if we didn't. Snead was confident he'd resign and between the combine and industry grapevine Snead had to know hed get at least that kind of interest as the consensus top wideout in FA. If they werent in the ballpark I think we would have heard something sooner about him going to kc.

After the trades there was a chance. Not until then really. Next year The Rams should be happy they went that route of not signing him.

He should have a 1,200 yard season with KC

NEW! Rampage Radio Podcast Eps 8

Good show. Two things I am going to knit pick. The name is Aqib Talib not akeem talib

You both sound very confident in where/which rounds some draft prospects will be picked. Are your projections from a source? Or just a fan site? I think some of them are a little off.

Otherwise good podcast. It's nice for a PA boy to be able to listen to someone talking Rams, instead of Steelers and Eagles.

Im sure I said Akeem EVERY time...

Some of the projections are pretty consistent throughout the scouting world.. but a couple are just personal. One that I would go back on and bump higher is Kolton Miller... guy will be most likely be a low 1 or high 2nd .. not a 3rd.

But hey, thanks for listening bud.

Unpopular Opinions: Rams NFC's Best team

this years first + next years first
Jaja don’t think they do that after we gave up next years 2nd to. Probably will wheel and deal but I don’t see them giving up anything to mortgage future top notch talent. He’s not a QB, plus I honestly think they like Settle. Plenty they can do to pick him up without mortgaging the future vía picks.

5 hours ago In case any confusion remains, here is the official list of Rams 2018 draft picks.

I wonder by first-pick.com has us with the 35th pick of the 6th?

Round 1 Pick 23
Round 3 Pick 23
Round 4 Pick 11
Round 4 Pick 35
Round 6 Pick 2
Round 6 Pick 9
Round 6 Pick 20
Round 6 Pick 21
Round 6 Pick 24
Round 6 Pick 35

I noticed that too. They missed it on their update since they just included Round 4 Pick 11 today. They'll eventually get around to correcting it. In any case, here is my first draft with the "updated" order:

Round 1 Pick 23: Ridley, Calvin, WR, Alabama (A+)
Round 3 Pick 23: Settle, Tim, DT, Virginia Tech (A)
Round 4 Pick 11: Thomas, Chad, DE, Miami (FL) (A+)
Round 4 Pick 35: Avery, Genard, ILB, Memphis (A)
Round 6 Pick 2: Flowers, Dimitri, FB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 6 Pick 9: Demby, Jamil, OG, Maine (A+)
Round 6 Pick 20: Conklin, Tyler, TE, Central Michigan (A+)
Round 6 Pick 21: Sieler, Zach, DE, Ferris State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 24: Robertson, Korey, WR, Southern Miss (A+)
Round 6 Pick 35: Smith, Ito, RB, Southern Miss (A+)

Some possible reasons for the “slow” Ram FA, so far...

Just a few tidbits from my weekly beers with Demoff, Snead, and McVay, NERamsFan. Lol.

But seriously?

Things from various interviews, beat writer articles, pundits, and a few respected and knowledgeable posters on multiple message boards over the course of months.

Like I posted originally, just take it fwiw.

Lol I didn’t mean to offend you if that’s how you took it. The way you positioned your opening, I was under the impression you may have known a person or two within the organization.. I took this as a summary to what we’ve all been reading and posting here. No bigs
