Man, I'm a long term Rams Fan since about ten years old, just before they moved to Anaheim (Dad purchased season tickets for the Anaheim games).

It's been tough, as you all know being a Rams fan. So many friends, employees over the years laughed when they found out I rooted for the Rams.

I will say, all that history makes the good years so much more sweeter. And damn, when the Rams come together, they really come together. The GSOT and now this? Wow. Rams are all over the news, etc. I am going to smell the roses now and during this upcoming season.

Watching these two episodes has just fired me up even more. What an awesome organization right now...top to bottom. Someone mentioned Paroh Cooper earlier. So many good players, I fricking forgot about him...lol.

Anyway, loving the Rams right now and Jeff Fisher can shove it!!!

Great points! Wade's history lends him most suited as a DC; and, McVay knows this. Therefore, it is totally understandable that McVay delegates the defense to Wade during game-time. I do not worry when McVay is seen sitting on the cooler when defense is on the field. I call it great delegation of resources. If and when the time comes, McVay can jump back in on defense as needed. I think other contracts would prevent this.

To those wondering about real grass, a roll out field would be near impossible and at minimum impractical with the field being underground. Drainage, water, and sunlight patterns would be a big negative too though not as difficult to answer. Besides, artificial turf and the bed below it have come a LONG way. It is no longer the injury magnet of days long past.

This will be a thing to behold when it is finished. I can't wait to see it.

My wife has had tons of friends like this over the years, crying on her shoulder. They never listen to her advice.

A lot of empathetic.....an overly empathetic person....attract narcissists like flies.
They can get out of that but it takes hard work and self awareness.

Just curious on everyone’s thoughts on this, and if it has come across anyone else’s mind as it has mine...

Hopefully we can stagger and front load the contracts in order to make it work so we can continue to have flexibility with future FA and draft classes, my only issue with front loading is players wanting a new contract just a couple years into it...

Every time I run through these numbers I come to the conclusion that either Gurley or Goff will draw the short straw (5th yr option plus 1 or 2 franchise tags). Tagging Gurley probably makes more sense long term (avoiding a rebuild), but tagging Goff might keep the SB window open a little longer. My biggest concern with chasing OBJ is that we'll probably have to tag Gurley twice. After that, he'd be a 28 year old RB with limited options (think DeMarco Murray 2 years ago). I think Gurley would have to play a potential tagging like Leveon is doing right now (or leave $15mil in career earnings on the table). Could get ugly.
