I have watched videos from surgeons who say this would be almost impossible.
They also added that playing him that early would just be asking for worse things to happen.
I don't see it happening and don't want it to happen but, that's just MHO.

Gratz!! Especially being able to nab a new truck in this current market. It's not easy from what I hear. But if you're like me you'll never go back to a non-truck if you can help it. Absolutely love them. Yeah they won't take off like a sports car but mine still has very good acceleration. As mentioned the take off traction is your biggest obstacle. I've got a flat, foldable hard cover on my bed which adds a good chunk of weight which helps. A couple heavy sand bags in the bed helps too but thats more for cold climates with ice/snow.

My 19 i got a few years ago had the best feature I never dreamed I would ever want but now that I have it I can't go back... heated steering wheel. Probably not much of a need for you southern or west coast climate people but up in Illinois it's wonderful for 5 months of the year. Nothing like having to clear ice/'snow off your truck when you get off work and hop in the truck with frost bit fingers and just have to wrap them around your steering wheel... ahhhhh.

Yeah -- whenever anybody brings up the Eagles "Dream Team," it's always with a snicker.

Though they were a little different than the current Rams, because they called THEMSELVES the Dream Team. There was an arrogance and entitlement mentality with that team. So when they failed miserably, lots of people were only too happy to kick them when they were down.

I don't see that kind of arrogance with this team. But then, I'm a fan. Maybe others see it differently.

Preparations have officially begun for the Dallas Cowboys this week as they ready to host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon and bounce back from last week’s upsetting loss to the Denver Broncos.

As the team began work, they did so without kicker Greg Zuerlein who was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday. While the Cowboys haven’t explicitly said anything regarding Zuerlein the general feel has been that he is very likely not going to be able to play for them against the Falcons, the team he helped secure a dramatic win against last year.

In an effort to properly prepare for all hypotheticals, the Cowboys worked out two kickers on Wednesday. Among them was Lirim Hajrullahu who was with the team in the lead-up to the regular season as well as former Cowboys kicker Brett Maher. The inclusion of the latter had a lot of fans worried given the way Maher’s time in Dallas ended, but no need to fret on that front. The Cowboys are signing Lirim Hajrullahu.

The report here notes that Zuerlein is in fact very likely going to be unable to play for the Cowboys this week which means that Hajrullahu will be called upon for his first actual NFL action. He has a history with special teams coordinator John Fassel’s old team in the Los Angeles Rams and was a perfect 12 for 12 during his workout with the team on Wednesday.

The last paragraph is incorrect because Hajrullahu was never with the Rams with Fassel, he worked out last year under special team coach John Bonamego .

What makes Jackson so great is his running ability. If you can stop that and contain him it neutralizes his biggest threat. The guy has a big arm but he's not dynamic in terms of reading and anticipating. Broken plays with him buying time with his legs sure. But outside of his running ability the guy is yet another product of Greg Roman.

If you have Roman running your offense I don't know that I'd ever pay a QB. I think I'd stack the roster with athletic QBs on first contracts and use their fresh legs and that dual threat in his scheme and spend that money on the OL and defense.

That’s the irritating thing, the Titans are missing their best player, they need to get a turnover or 2, and win the field position battle. The Rams strategy is to run empty sets and look deep. The rams couldn’t block the Titans front from the first series it was a matter of time til something bad happened.
Guys like Belichek will find your weakness and exploit it, McVay wants to overpower you with his strength.

I think we have the answer to the last guy to join the 53-man roster. Did not see that coming at all!

I heard a theory that part of the reason why they are slow to adjust sometimes is that McVay just has too much going on.

I always think Blue Velvet, "Candy Colored Clown ", that movie is just creepy, but great acting in it!

Anyone notice going into the Titans game, the pregame, they were talking the Rams up as one of the best teams... then at halftime they sort of stopped talking that way, talking up other teams?

That's the way the wind blows on these shows. I don't know how they get away with it, except viewers must have short memories.

Darious Williams: "Felt good to be back out there"​

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – After a 3-game stint on Injured Reserve recovering from ankle injury, Rams cornerback Darious Williams made his return last week against the Titans. He was glad to be back.

"I'm getting better daily, every day is just a work in progress," Williams said during a video conference Wednesday. "Obviously in a game, it felt good to be back out there. And then being on IR, I mean, I think it was good, because obviously, it helped get the ankle right. So everything overall, is feeling great."

Williams had three total tackles in his return, but his presence alone was crucial to the ways the Rams defense deployed cornerback Jalen Ramsey. When both Rams head coach Sean McVay and defensive coordinator Raheem Morris indicated Williams' positional flexibility went hand-in-hand with the ability to maximize Ramsey's versatility.

With both Ramsey and Williams in the secondary, the Rams held Titans wide receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones to a combined nine catches for 77 yards last week.

While Williams was sidelined, the Rams went with a committee approach to replace Williams, with previously seldom-used players like rookie Robert Rochell and veteran Dont'e Deayon among those seeing more snaps during that three-week stretch.

"I'm especially proud of DD because he's had a long time coming," Williams said. "So just to see him out there playing fast, it's great to see obviously, and then when it comes to Scooter, he's a rookie, so any reps he can get, any snaps he can get, I think that's where all that comes from. It's just game reps, maturity in the game, and that's also fun to see. Just seeing him, if he asked me questions, whatever it is just trying to get him ready, but it also provides a lot of depth. Like we don't just have to get out there, it doesn't have to just be me and Jalen, or whatever it is, we also have depth in our room. And I think that says a lot."

It's valuable to have with the bye week approaching and as the Rams gear up for what is effectively the second half of their season. Los Angele ranks 12th in total defense heading into Monday night's game against the 49ers, and Williams likes where the unit and the team as a whole currently stand.

"I think we're right where we want to be," Williams said. "We're still in control of our destiny. Obviously this later half of the season's all the tougher teams, a lot of good competition, but we're right where we want to be. We just take every game one week at a time, and defensively, we obviously know we've got (Matthew Stafford), we've got an offense that's on fire right now. All we got to do is continue to do our job, get teams off the field, get them the ball back."

Thank Tampa Bay. They gave up on a Groza award winner (best K in CFB) they drafted in the 5th round after a rookie year that wasn't disastrous. We got lucky that other teams didn't snap him up first. Great addition.
