I'm rooting for him but it's hard to say if the injury has permanently sapped some of his athleticism without seeing him in action. Gotta imagine the Rams will keep an eye out on the RB market if our RB room isn't as productive on the field or injuries hit again. We have a lot of potential back there but they've also all been injury prone thanks to the nature of the position.

Well Imo AJ Dillion 2021 #62 could have been The Rams at #57.

Rams drafted Cam Akers #52

Just saying that would have really made The Rams the deepest team in The NFL Bar-none. Of course at that time The Rams had Malcom Brown who was a Big RG.
I liked Dillion coming out of BC.He was a guy I could have seen The Rams drafting if needed. Green Bay really scouts well.
Van Jefferson should have a break out season & when you look at where the NFL is at as far as passing games go The Rams could be the best?

We’ll see how Williams does.The Rams still have Funk & Cailas. D.Henderson is a real nice RB to go with a workhorse RB that Cam Akers could be?
In the playoffs Cam Akers looked real bad in pass pro.I think D.Henderson is a solid 3rd down RB because he is so diverst. His 3rd down catch in the SuperBowl & his running skills really shined.I think he gets overlooked & if he doesn’t come of the IR to play in that game.The Rams lose.

Last season at this time I thought Cam Akers had a shot at being one of The Best RB’s in the NFL. Have to say Johnathan Taylor was the RB I wanted to trade up for. Could he have been had for #52 & #57 at say #40 with Houston?
Well in 2022 The Rams are ready to roll.In 2023 Cam Akers & who else?Right now there is a little uncertainty for 2023.Williams could be an excellent find? The SJ39 story is a fairytale type if he becomes a solid Ram RB.

FWIW I'm glad the Rams included "L.A." in the logo, they never had that previously. The Ram itself needs to be improved upon, but again, this logo has grown on me and looks better in HD or 4K or however, you're viewing it.

Time will tell. It should be fun to watch play out.

The Rams secondary wasn't great for a lot of last season. A lot of people put that on Morris, I didn't.
If Donte Deayon is even on your active game day roster, you've got real problems.
Bummed about losing Williams... but I think the secondary, overall, could be significantly better this coming year, somewhat offsetting the loss of Von.. although I still expect them to bring a rusher in at some point.

The Rams need Long to keep playing like he did in the post season.. Rochell to take a big jump... Scott to build on his post season.. and Troy Hill to be what he was for the Rams in 20.
If that happens and they get just decent production from one or two of the rookies, they'll be cooking, imo.

I remember hearing speculation that Stan Kroenke's real estate group was interested in buying the now defunct Woodland Hills Promenade Shopping Mall (34 acres). I think this was back in February?. It seemed a sure plan if Kroenke could swing the deal that it's use would be that. However a more recent article in May informs that it is not known whether Kronke would develop the property according to previous plans that would create a 10000 seat performing venue with shopping and restaurants and hotels, like mini-SoFi. Or, would he create the permanent home for the Rams training facilities which includes room for a training camp, having everything in one location?

We remember that Aaron Donald sold his previous home, fueling speculation that he was headed to Pittsburg. Instead of that, he purchased a home near Sean McVay in the Woodland Hills, just 15 minutes from this site. Matthew Stafford and Jalen Ramsey live close by as well. BYW, Kroenke did indeed purchase the site for $150 million dollars, but like when he first purchased the old race track in Inglewood, he likes to play his cards a little close to the vest.

Yep I agree. I noticed he fumbled the ball in one of his runs. He will need to work on that. But overall a pretty good looking back.

Sorta with you. I don’t mind when ED and Magic say pro Rams or Lakers stuff. That’s normal for most franchise legends in any sport. It’s when they say stupid shit that, because of their franchise status, can cause problems for their teams.

Same here. I pretty much tune him out completely nowadays, but because of what he did on the field for us, I still wear my blue Dickerson jersey just about every game day.

One thing I'm going to enjoy is watching this year's QB class adjust to the league. I've said more than once that I think they don't get credit for the impact of COVID on the snaps and practice and rhythm the position requires and I think there was more talent at the position than people realize. Will some of these guys prove me right? Bueller?

Well this is probably moreso about the Falcons realizing how fucked they are if Mariota is the guy, but...

Powell was huge last season and I know I've debated the numbers game at WR, however, IMO, Powell is too valuable as a return specialist and could end up an All Pro in that capacity.

The only reason why he’d be an all-pro though is the young guys & system imo. He had some nice returns.

Throw in Warner not breaking a finger on a snap in 2000 and again breaking his hand in 2002.

@Rams43 many ILBs could be an upgrade over Reeder. I watched the whiner playoff game and there were at least 3 plays where he was dragged by a receiver or RB for a first down. Even the announcers were getting irritated calling it.

Reeder was nothing more than a back up. I wish him the best of luck with his new team.

So yes, Wagner will be a huge upgrade over Reeder.

I don't recall any Dlineman getting double or triple teamed as much as AD. Can you imagine his numbers if he was one on one for most plays?

Plenty of what ifs but I'm so glad we have Kroenke, McVay and Snead. We're in that ERA where the Rams could win 4-5 super bowls if the management team stays intact.
