I wasn't able to watch the 99 super bowl with my dad, but he was at my house tonight and we had a hell of a time! Thank you, Dad. Raising me as a Rams fan made me mentally tougher than others and these moments are so sweet. Fuck the haters, hail to the Rams, and thank God for the Ramily!

I'll be honest. I gave up hope half way through this season. I got it back around week 16. This is great. Better than 99 for me because I didn't know shit about football then. After 99 my dad (fucking great dude, y'all would like him) bought me the Madden game. That's how I learned what the hell was happening on each play. This win means more to me. And I got to share it with my oldest son who I woke up so he could watch the victory formation. Good times all around.
I know how you feel, I got to watch the game with my Son (also a great dude) and his family (3 young boys, 9, 5 and 3). This will be one of my greatest memories of my life because I got to watch the Rams win a SB with my Son. We had so much fun doing shots after each score, but the best shot, was the victory shot at the end of the game.

Those weent boo's, haha....

Cooooooooooop!!!

A friend of mine was there. He and his wife were seated among many Bungle fans. They were waiting for the crowds to thin and when the award was made these fans booed Cooper. They were all upset feeling that their "destiny" was stolen. When he told them that it must not have been their destiny to win they almost beat him so he and his wife left. He couldn't believe where these people got the money to drink enough to get drunk. He said the cheapest beer was about $17 or $18.

The whole game they were disgusting and crying in shock at the end. Almost all blamed Taylor's playcalling. I'm sure the vast majority were screaming Cooooop but not the Bungles.

I had to read every post in this thread. It's only the 2nd ever Rams Super Bowl winning thread.

I must say I enjoyed every fricking post! ROD Rams fans are better than none other. That guy @Loyal is the only one on ROD I think is a little off, but he is likeable though!

Hey @MachS...props to you. I remember you being the most positive poster of Stafford when the trade went down. I was high-fiving all your posts in the Stafford/Goff trade thread back then. Man, you called it well back then.

It is remarkable that the Rams were down their 2nd and 3rd WR, starting TE, 2nd TE, both starting Safeties and managed to win. Most teams would have had no shot.
If fully healthy this is probably a 20 point win for the Rams.
To me, it is a real testament to McVay and his position coaches. Getting those green backup TEs with virtually no playing experience to just not mess up but to contribute....fantastic job.
The D was prepared and played consistently and tackled pretty well.
Even though three stars (Stafford, Kupp, Donald) got all the attention (understandably so) it was a true team win. Guys who were on the practice squad a few weeks ago were contributing.
Awesome win for an awesome team and coaching staff.
Les "sack"Snead for having big balls and no F's to give....making the deals that made this happen.
Thank you LA Rams.....I LOVE IT!!!!

i think it was 13-10 at the time. but the offense nose dived after that. looked unstoppable before that.

stafford and kupp found a way when it was absolutely needed though. clutch players.

.
It was 13-3 when he blew out the knee.

I'm pretty well convinced at this point based on how well they moved the ball with him (even just with the two catches at that point) and seeing how they struggled for the next two quarters without him that had he stayed in the game it would have been a comfortable win.

Maybe not a blowout but easily 10+ points.

He's getting a lot of hate but Ramsey wasn't that bad honestly. He had two bad plays, one was a remarkable HOF level play by Chase. The other was a bad decision to try and jump a route instead of play for the tackle vs Chase on the last drive.

Given that most of their yards came on a handful of plays, yes I'd agree that overall Ramsey and the secondary in general won more coverage battles then they lost and that is a good job.

But if you just look at his numbers, they were very un-Ramsey like.

You're looking at stats, watch the film. The numbers include a 75yard TD that should've never counted. Any objective football fan knows that play was bullshit. Take that away and he had two negative plays. One was an unbelievable one handed grab by Chase fighting great coverage. Don't forget Ramsey almost had an INT in the red zone too on a slant to Higgins.
