I’ve been a Gibbs guy, but Charbonnet on trade down is VERY tempting. We need to get some extra picks inside round 4.
Charbs would piss a lot of folks off. But yeah I think come the season people would feel a lot better about the pick when they don't have to watch our offense stall out due to teams playing back and stopping the run with halfass effort. Add that dude and your run game is a threat. Instantly.

Prob is in this draft you can get a similar effect later. But Charbonnet is a stud though, and he's gonna be a stud in the NFL. Very low risk IMO. He has a high floor and reasonably good ceiling too.

I'm really hoping they draft this guy as well. Not a big Akers supporter. Charbonnet gives the rams a bell cow back they can feed and wear down defenses then get the play action game going.

If Levis were to fall, we would definitely be positioned as a team that knows the real skinny on him. That being insight on his work ethic, intelligence, resilience, etc., those missing pieces fans don't get from watching games. So if that were to happen I'd feel pretty damn good about it.

Also I'd feel comfortable with us passing on Levis if he falls for the same reason. Kentucky players in general we're gonna have a great feel for thanks to Liam.
I just read the article in The Athletic, where Cohen talks about him.

It sounds like he’s very intelligent and put in the work. He ran the Rams offense with the same 7 part play calls and the next year he ran the 49ers offense. He lost a lot of talent in 2021. Cohen said he’d try to make up for it by doing too much. He also said he’d have to start out in a lot of play action, due to only playing two years.

I figure trying to guess the Rams first pick is a shot in the dark. Nobody predicted Tutu for example. So I fumigated I’d go big or go home with my pick.

After reading the article I’m guessing he will go in the top half of the first round. If he reached the Vikings I could see OConnel drooling. They are not extending Cousins, the last I heard.

I would not be shocked at all if Charbonnet was the Rams first pick.

I may be disappointed that it’s not an edge rusher or IOL, but it would be a typical McVay move.

Yeah, sure would be great to turn 3rd and 1 to a RUN down and not a pass as we've all but conceded we can't get a yard by running for it lately.
Charbonnet would flip the script immediately...

Charbonnet is good, but has anyone else noticed that UCLA LG Atonio Mafi road grading defenders?
Dude, their whole line was beasting folks last year. Honestly, I like Charbs, but, he did have one of the better lines in the nation in front of him giving him large holes to run through. I wouldn't be happy at all if he was picked at 36. A solid trade down, and sure. Wouldn't be my top pick, but I could at least understand it.

Exactly. I like charbs a lot. But he’s not worth being selected in 2nd.

is Mafi in this years draft? Sounds like a guy I'd like to see on the Rams.

Yes. Seems like he’s projected around 5-7th round. I really hope we get him with one of the 6ths. Has center potential in NFL too.

Gaines is the other ucla iOL and he’s ranked a little higher- 5th round maybe. He’d be a good get too. Also has some OC potential in the NFL.

Best EDGE, CB, or WR on the board but MUST START or atleast have starter-ish snap counts...none of this 3yr redshirt garbage

I too think we stand pat. There’s some good 1 round quality players available to us. This guy will probably end up in the first round, but I can also see him being there when we pick

O’Cyrus Torrence - Guard - Florida
Damn I would love this.

Torrence would be great and fill a need where he could be a day 1 starter. Definitely would not hate that.

Dawand Jones might not be a day 1 starter, maybe not even year 1. However he might be that rock in the blindside for the next decade.

Cam Smith is a ball hawk that would be a good choice to compete with our weaker group of CBs. 6’1” 180 he could put a little weight on that frame.

Tuli Tuipulotu looks like a rangy guy who has plenty of juice and gets good pressure. Being an SC gets bonus points from me.

Trading down would be my least favorite use of this pick. Any of these 4 could possibly be day 1 starters if the cards fall right for them.
Blind side protector? Are we drafting a left-handed QB soon, he payed RT at Ohio St.

Can I change my pick?

Seeing how Hooker has had two meetings, instead of Alexis dropping to the Rams, they will draft Hooker too early by picking him at 36.

A solid Edge rusher makes our secondary better. Or a solid OLine uy that can help keep our QB upright and out of th "blue tent". The draft is way too unpredictable to know who will be there...... or not...
