If we stray from Iol and Edge I like Sanders or Branch, if they are there, just too much talent and production to pass up.

My guess is trade down.

If we pick, it’s help for the offense.

I am in the “take Gibbs” camp if he’s there.

What about Robinson ? I’ve always been about The Bigger back in The NFL. Marshall was a different Cat,but Rams history if I remember right have been mostly Bigger RB’s ? Wendle was a RB say I can see being more like.Meaning is dangerous & explosive. My memory now a days isn’t all that good any more though.

That said I will go with my first instinct.I’ve watched a lot of football in my days.I’ve seen a lot of players from a far.
This video sort of confirms what I think & like how the Blogger says he would say Charbonnet would(maybe) be better than Robinson.
-My point being the value is there at #36.Don’t think you can pass on Zach Charbonnet if he is there. My Mock(live) first (1st. Last year?) either way ?

#36Zach Charbonnet RB -ucla
#69 Jaelyn Duncan LT/Maryland
#77 Andre Carter 111
There is not a better 3 I could think of if this came true….IMO
would address everything The Rams need as a core.It got better
though would have done it different, but results were better than I would have ever thought.

167 Mekhi Garner,cb- lsu
171 Daniel Scott s - cal
,Richard Gouraige,OT Florida
Jake Moody K Michigan
,Alex Austin,cb,Oregon St.
Ali Gayeedge,edgelsu
Robert Beal ,edgeGeorgia
Les Snead & Mcvay might just close up shop & take it.Had to have been a April Fools joke

Trading back to get him might be the best way ?
Late 2nd ?

If they don't take a QB at 36, I think Tune and McKee could be on the board at 36 or at least one of them (McKee). They would be hard to pass up as both offer a long term solution at the position with McKee potentially becoming a starting quality QB.

If they stay with edge I like Lukas Van Ness out of Iowa. He's needs polish but his ceiling is very high. He has elite speed and quickness, excellent length and long arms. Why I think he drops into the second round is hes more RAW than you want in a first round pick. The Rams are big on analytics and Van Ness falls into that category. He is what Hoecht could be if he drops weight. Hoecht gained 20lbs to play inside at 3T. Now that he's outside he should drop that weight and regain his speed and quickness. With Van Ness they would have bookend edges with length, speed and power. Put Van Ness next to AD and it could be a deadly combo.

It's why if they don't take a QB at 36 and Van Ness drops like I think he will then IMO he fits the kind of player the Rams like.

We tend to take guys who we've had in for visits, especially the earlier picks, so that's one clue

Also, I dunno why, but I doubt D or OL early... maybe edge or CB in the 3rd.

I'd love to be wrong, but it feels like TE with that 2nd pick... I'd go OL/Edge/CB... best of what's there, but I think it'll be TE or maybe RB

I don't see them taking a RB3 until the 5th round. I think Tank Bigsby could still be on the board when the Rams make their first pick in the round. Tank is 6' 210 lbs with 4.5 speed. He's not explosive but he accelerates well as he's not a long strider. He's got decent hands but is raw in his knowledge of route running. He is exactly what you want and expect from a rotation RB. He's not projecting to be a workhorse starter, but a solid role player.

Torrence (if available) at R2.36 would be very nice!!

I’m confident 98% that we trade down, but in this this scenario we stay Pat and we draft someone?
It’ll be one of these 3 and not necessarily in this order.

1. OG Florida O Cyrus Torrence
2. ED Will McDonald Iowa State
3. ED Adetomiwa Adebawore NW

My guess is that they trade down and select EDGE Derick Hall from Auburn.
That would be a very solid plan. I think Hall can be had mid or late 2nd also, so they could get a decent amount of draft capital back for that type of trade down. Hall is pretty close to the same prospect as Uzomah and McDonald IMO.

Bigsby would be an excellent pick in the 5th, if he lasts until there. One of the better mid round RB's from what I have seen. And, his name is Tank. That alone warrants the pick.

Yeah, this makes a lot of sense. We need picks from a trade down but if an elite talent is there you got to go with them.

Yeah I imagine the Rams agree with you. It will take someone they really value being there, someone they know won't be around much longer but who would really move that needle for them, in order to not look for a trade down.

I'd really like to see where the TEs are on their board. My fears are Washington and Musgrave end up being the target. Washington is a freak but I have a strong dislike for freaks who do not produce on the actual field. And Musgrave for all his measurables has very little RAC threat, he's a catch & flop king and I think we can do a lot better than that in this draft. Plus he had the knee injury.

The TEs who will help us most are the ones who can turn a catch underneath into something. Guys like LaPorta or Kraft in the early going, both of whom break tackles and mismatch LBs and safeties. And if they address it later they need to avoid guys like Kuntz who are all upside and go with a choice like Whyle instead who is quite smooth for his size.

Torrence and McDonald would be the type of player the Rams should run to the podium for instead of a trade down. The Rams would need to pass on Adeboware at R2.36 but snap him up if he was still available at R3.69.

Just from judging Sneads drafts for the last 8 years or so it seems he’s almost guaranteed to trade down especially with our gaps in our picks right now: 36 to 69 and 77 to 167. Im sure they want to gather more picks for players that fall.

Adebawore isn’t really an edge… he’s a DE/DT hybrid. I can see a 4-3 year DE or a 5T DE in a 3-4. He could also be a rush 3T DT on passed my down, but he’s a bit too big and stiff for a 3-4 edge
