Yes - I think change will be good.Even if it’s not Carbarry’s fault he has to be held to that high of a standard. There is way to many missed assignments.

LMAO - so Ram Fans like Bonify’d has selective memory. Joking ,but still he had Covid to start the season & part of the early process.

—I have no idea why The Rams had Austin Corbett as the starting center coming out of OTA’s ? Can’t recall who was going to be The Rams RG though ? Interesting?(Anchrum?)
It was going to be "gulp" Evans

But Evans was showing crap in Training Camp and so they tried Allen at Center and moved Corbett to RG to see how that would work and the rest is history

WOW - that is crazy because Bobby Evans started against Green Bay at LG to end 2020 season.
—They had Nrian Allen as the backup RG(lol) & Shelton behind Corbett.
Don’t know how Brian Allen took over the starting center spot from there ? That is why going into 2022 I was PISSED.

When Brian Allen went down to start the season I was actually happy that A’Jackson was The Rams starting RG. He looked so comfortable & is BIG!!

Then Edwards gets hurt & Noteboom does his thing of getting injured.

—It’s been a long season of change.

One of the biggest reasons why we lost to Green Bay in 2020.

Goff looked really good in that game except for the 3rd and 7 or longer plays.

Every time they had that situation, either Blythe or Evans ole'd their guy (sometimes both) and had a clean shot at Goff

Goff either got sacked or had to throw the ball away every single time.

Change is only good if you have someone better to change to. We saw guys last year playing well and I would agree Whit was part of that. This year I expect he has still been mentoring even though he’s not playing. I can’t see firing Carberry as a positive thing.

If I were to fire Carberry it would be for a run game coordinator upgrade. Not sure it's necessary to fire him to add that, but if there's someone special McVay has his eye on for that role do what you have to do.

I’d say that was all about Big Whitworth who was a HUGE mentor to players.

You know Big Whit was on The Rams sideline when Baker Mayfield & teammates helped beat the Raiders.
So Carberry doesnt get credit?
But gets the blame for an oline that played what? 12 different lineups?
Man, rough crowd

Interesting.... but we have Jake Peetz on staff....
What is he doing? What's he done?

After spending a year at Alabama, Peetz was named the running backs coach of the Carolina Panthers in 2019 after former coach Jim Skipper retired. Under his coaching, Christian McCaffrey led the NFL in touches, total touchdowns and all-purpose yards. He also led all running backs in points scored and receptions, and was named 1st-team All-Pro and selected to the Pro Bowl. In 2020, Peetz was named the team's quarterbacks coach under new head coach Matt Rhule.

I'm not sure if McCaffrey kicking ass is a big indicator of coaching ability. With him if he is healthy he's an impact player.

Also not sure what Peetz does for us. Or who is our primary run game coordinator but it probably doesn't matter as whoever it is he is not good enough.

Do you think with different personnel or more of a commitment to run by McVay the running game would be better?

I don’t see how any good team can have fewer than 25 runs a game and be good at it.

It worked with Gurley. So yes I think we can be good at running with better personnel being the only change. I don't think there's anything wrong with McVay's approach, other than he didn't adjust to the status of his OL this year as much as he should have. They need run game protection.

I mean his preseason approach bugs me, shit like that, but you can't argue with the wins he gets. So when I bitch about the run I am in no way disregarding his strengths. Just feels like some of these games would have been much closer with a change in approach.

Reason I would like to see him find a good run game coordinator is because those types tend to get production and they know what is needed to get it so that would help him just like hiring Staley helped him to learn the nuances of quarters as an offensive play designer.

Have to agree there have been some good run production in games where he stuck to the run. But I’ve also seen him go away from it far too often, even Monday’s game where Akers is gashing them.

It’s like he can’t get over that hump to figure out a way to continue to get production.

Dude - tell me what you like about the O’Line moving forward? I’m sort of upset about Rob Havienstien regression. He should be easily the best player on the Line.

Very interesting development, he was allegedly leaving the Rams to join Rhule at Nebraska but decided to stay. Maybe he's an OC candidate?

I dont like much about the line moving forward, but I honestly have had reservations about the line for several seasons. Whit was a security blanket that was in no way, shape or form had a sufficient replacement plan. Why would I hold Carberry accountable for Boom getting hurt when the guy gets hurt every year? Or Allen? And Have? Sorry, but when has he ever been good? Marginal at best, functional with a stud LT. He is easily the best player on the line because the bar is set awful low
To me, its all scheme and play calling in response to the turnover of players that has been ineffective
I dont know if Carberry is doing a good job or not, I leave that up to McVay. But for sure however that decision is being made has nothing to do with the execution of the plays in games. Would be insane to judge him on that

My money is on Zac Robinson.

The first person Mcvay hugged after winning the Superbowl was Wes. Without Wes there is no Sean Mcvay Rams HC!!

Mcvay said when asked a question about certain coaches. He brought his name up & actually might have some regret with hiring Coen so fast as his OC?
Just sort of cool to see his coaching tree. You can give Carberry all the credit for the offensive line, but I’ve always liked The Rams Originally’s.
Zac Robinson came later, but last season with Cooper Kupp & Geoff’s last season with The Rams he was hands on.

I guess ??? What do we really know??? Aaron Kromer walks out the door & in comes a new replacement.I really liked Aaron Kromer as a O’Line coach. IMO he wanted to be more involved with the Offense or something like that. He got away from concentrating up front however that went. Andy Dickerson was an excellent assistant O’Line coach & Kromer son Zac.

As far as Carberry goes he needed to evaluate The O’Line better for The Rams Future!! He needs to pound the table. If Bruss was his guy to start at RG & just bring back the 2019 disaster back then this is what you get.

Austin Corbett came in & both rookies had to step up that season.
Austin Blythe is still as starting center in the NFL for all The Haters.Talk about a Rookie starter coming into The NFL & being mentor to a Class Act is no other than Creed Humpries.

So he was supposed to know Bruss was going to miss the season? And if he is supposed to evaluate for the future, who says he hasnt? Do you know his plans for 2023 and beyond?

Frustrating- was funny on a False start Akers started doing a running in place dance. He was ready

Just going to add a disappointing thing IMO from my view was a player like Max P. has been with The Rams 2 or 3 seasons. I’m to lazy to look it up,but still think his progression really stinks. If he has been with The Rams 3 seasons.
