A lot of votes for Loveland, although I like the player I hope we pass on him in round 1 and if there is a desire to draft a TE, grab one later. Just feels like the between him and the others is not great. I see this draft with 6 probably 7 likely day 1 starters. I dont see a huge gap between Loveland and say Arroyo, Taylor, Ferguson, Fannin, Helm. You go a little deeper and there are players like Gadsden and Briningstool. Will 10 teams address TE in the first 2 rounds....not sure but guessing no.

Deep sleeper favorite would be Luke Lachey from Iowa. Think he would be a nice fit in our offense. Good blocker. Played in a very unfriendly pass offense.

My vote remains an elite offensive skill guy.

It is amusing to me how the media heads in general have pointed to the Rams for the past 5-6 years and always say the Rams are top heavy and lacking depth. As if there is so much more depth on the vast majority of other teams. Bologna.
I don't think lack of depth is what this is saying. I think it is more that the Rams have taken care of most there holes and can pick anything. Although I would have put ILB as their most glaring need.

More edge. Pierce or Green would really add to the pass rush rotation. One could be there at 26

I wouldn't mind more edge talent. Keep them fresh and coming in waves. Not sure Pearce or Green will be on the Rams board though due to what I understand to be potential character issues.

Take an edge day 2 or 3 we need a CB more than a 3rd edge.

The Rams need an MLB dude. The Rams have 10 CB’s right now on there roster.
Agree with an Edge rusher day 2 or 3,but B. Jackson should fill in for Hoecht well going into his 2nd season.
—Like I said there was a handshake agreement with Whiterspoon & Mcvay. His contract says basically he will be a starter. His performance down the stretch shows he can play man on some of the Top WR’s.

A OT would probably be the best choice if Coleman isn’t there. They can’t just draft a OG/OT,but a pure OT if there.A trade back might be the best choice sort of like 2017 when Les traded back in the 2nd rd. Trying to get value from last years trade up for a Circled Player(s).

Not more than a CB1 we have Speights and Landman starting.

We’ll see the direction The Rams go.Whiterspoon will start before Speights imo, even though they both are staters.Omar doesn’t have much cover skills. He’ll get exposed if he is an every down backer.

The Rams brain trust obviously knows what they are doing, but in my opinion, the Rams go nowhere without stopping the run. That goes especially for when the Rams play the Iggles and the Whiners. Poona Ford was a great addition but a solid inside linebacker is a must. If not, then a road paving O lineman would be good as the Rams have struggled when they had injuries or other O line issues. I believe the Rams can add good players at corner or tight end in later rounds. But what the heck do I know?

Trading back for a pass catching TE & ILB might be the way to go. The Rams need a starting Tackle for the future.Won’t say passing on a Shut Down CB isn’t they way to go.Best available for The future.
—If there’s an OT there The Rams really like then go.

When Jake was around he would always throw different ideas & players around. He did this podcast on the fly,but WE all have our own ideas.
—I look back at my Les Snead days & will always think WOW - especially with Fisher.I look back at Bill Walsh & early days of Belacheat(he messed his drafts up) to find ways of trading back.
Here is a little idea of value.

Thanks! But There's no depth in that position and a young stud that is on minimum wage (rookie salary) would be a good fit. He won't be available but I was hoping for Jihaad Campbell.
Agree - having those 2 together would really Solidify The Rams Defense!!! You look around The NFL and see what a good tandem in the middle can do..
-It adds to schemes, especially if there’s a 4.5 ILB that can be moved around.Cause for a lot of turnovers & doubt on the opposing QB’s.
There are certain players of Need that can really Help & change a Team.
Bowers would’ve been huge for the offense.Everett added value back from 2017.The Rams struggled at TE.McBride almost took The Rams out of the Playoffs (zona).Mcvay was a TE’s coach & I think he knows the value of the position.
RB - having depth & a stable of backs has always been a theory of mine.
QB - Dart would be hard to pass on.Then again the ND QB in the 6th rd ? Having an extra arm in camp helps Stafford.
These are positions though with a Big group of players.
