Got some medical intel on him on a podcast with former scout Bryan Broaddus.

ACL Reconstruction on one knee in 2018
Arthritis in other knee
Hurt both shoulders this year causing recent surgery. Mentioned AC Joint.
Didn't want to draft him before even less so now.

Don't see anything online about knee issues, but he did have labrum surgery after the combine. That may help him fall to us, and bringing in Landman would make up for him having to miss the start of the season.

Campbell still projected to go as high 19 even with the surgery. Hopefully some QBs will get drafted too high and help star player fall to us like it did last draft.

The Rams need LB, but unlikely to use a 1st rounder. But based on recent history, OL, is a need that is always there and it might not be sexy, but a good O line makes a lot of things work. Noteboom was a decent player but could not stay on the field. We need some viable reserves in case one of the starters goes down for a few weeks. During the SB 56 run, our Oline was intact nearly the whole season.

With Noteboom it is not so much about his ability it is more so about his availability. I personally hope the Rams part ways with his arse.

FYI. On a side note, Daniel Jeremiah stated on one of his podcasts that he was told that UCLA LB Carson Schwesinger may have better workout numbers than Campbell at his pre-draft workout.

I can't believe anyone hasn't mentioned it... Noteboom is still on the market. If we don't get a tackle in the draft, he's almost absolutely coming back as a fall back.

Yikes. That definitely scares me off a 1st round pick for him.

I'm starting to like this guy more and more. Really doubt he lasts until our pick in the 3rd unfortunately. Might have to make a move. Easier to do in the 3rd then 1st.

He's a free agent and not on the Rams so they've at least for now have parted ways with him. But hey we brought back Shelton so anything is possible.

With the sheer number of players who contributed in a real way (not talking about future All-Pros but immediate impact) was the 2024 the best draft in Rams history?
With Jackson and possibly Leveston contributing this year it stands to get even better.

I'm a big UCLA fan and honestly really like Schwesinger.

I'd rank Jihaad higher sideline to sideline but Carson plays down hill... if we waited until the 3rd to look at ILB I'd be fine with Schwesinger... but his combine and workouts have probably pushed him higher in the draft

Hahaha, I have no problem if he's option 3 in a dynamic draft where OT may not fall just right for us.

It's not like they're resigning him now.

Success is about planning contingencies, have to imagine he's an option but far down the list.
I can see them entertaining bringing him back for very low cost after the draft if they didn't get an OT early. McClendon and (shudder) Arcuri aren't good options.
