Who do you take at 26?

If we're looking for immediate impact maybe Barron. Or Loveland. If we're thinking a year or two down the road then Conerly Jr. At some point they have to think about right tackle. Havenstein is getting up there in age. We don't know how much longer he'll be there.

Of that list I like Barron.

My 1st round crush this year is Emeka Egbuka.

Yeah, I tried to mock it out and Egbuka goes right before us each time.

I picked the OT out of this group. but I'd rather have a game changing RB. We need a swing tackle and a future replacement for Big Rob. The Rams have never had a TE that was great and so I am skeptical about wasting a 1st rounder on one.

In this scenario, Jeanty and Hampton are gone already. Can't say I think any of the other guys are worth the 26th pick.

Probably Loveland as the best receiving threat TE that could be there. Next to him probably a CB like Amos, Barron, Harrison, Thomas, etc...

Then, surprisingly maybe Milroe as a gadget guy if McVay is really good at incorporating him into the offense and if he is very willing to be a runner/receiver/gadget guy. He might be one of the most explosive athletes in the entire draft.

Barring injury, it's really hard to say.

I guess from the list I would go Barron. C B would really help the D. I would not go TE in the 1st round. McVay puts so much importance on blocking, I doubt we would see him in the line up enough to justify a 1st round pick.
RB would make the biggest difference to the total team, but it would have to be Jeanty. Not sure about Hampton. So that is not happening so CB.
I hope the Rams could trade out of the 1st get a 2nd and a 3rd or 4th. get our TE there.

Of these choices, I'm good with Barron or Loveland. We need top talent at either spot for today and tomorrow. Not a fan of the poor tackling CB's.

Of the players listed for this poll, I only envision Revel, Connerly and Amos available there. Since our needs were somewhat met with the Landman, Shelton and Witherspoon signings I think our greatest need is to have a more than capable swing tackle on the roster. McClendon don't cut it, not even sure he is an NFL tackle. We all saw what happens to our offense when we face injuries along the line, expect them, but also have a plan in place. I would really like to see Grey Zabel or Donovan Jackson at 26. They would provide insurance everywhere except center. Then he would take over Hav in '26.

I picked Loveland. Last draft we went defense heavy and it made a huge impact. The offense let us down far more then the defense. Add an elite receiving weapon at TE and we should see a big improvement. Secondly, I'd take Barron, who I love. If Johnson happened to fall, I'd be all over that also.

I tried to mock it out as best I could, I sorta agree on Loveland but teams having other needs just seems like it might push him down.

Burden I can see falling into 2nd so had no qualms of putting him there and have a hard time thinking Dart goes that high but it's silly season.

I'm not going to weigh in on specific players who I haven't seen enough to comment on....
...but generally speaking, if the Rams can find an OT they really believe in, that's my top choice.
I would like to see an early Corner and another added later, give me a smart choice at RB somewhere in the middle and find us a kick ass LB somewhere and I'll be tickled blue.

Funny, I see it as the total opposite. We have Puka, but past that? Tutu only on a 1 year gig, Davante technically on a 2 year but easily can get out after 1, and Whittington showed some promise but that can change in a flash.
I wouldnt call it a necessity, but definitely is something which will need to be addressed at some point

This illustrates that we should be looking beyond 2025 when we consider who to draft.

Who stands out for you at 26? Golden will most likely be long gone after his blazing 40 and work at the combine. Are there character concerns with Burden?

I agree but think Royals and Xavier Restrepo are better fits for our scheme and timing routes
