49ers are one of the worst teams in the NFL on paper. No excuse for that loss. The worst part is, I have no faith in this o-line to get a yard when it matters. Or block for our kicker when it matters. Or in our kicker to make a kick even if there is blocking. Or in our RB to hold onto the ball. Those are 3 hugely important parts to the game to be lacking. I didn't want to re-sign Williams and this is why. The Rams have a good team. It's a long year. But you get the sinking feeling we are going nowhere this year. Too sloppy. Too many self inflicting wounds. I do think we need to jettison Kyren. Completely unsustainable to win with that many turnovers. This game should have been a blowout with all the 49er injuries. But two red zone fumbles, a missed FG, a missed PAT, and a robbed TD by the refs on "forward progress" made sure it wasn't. McVay's teams are usually pretty buttoned up. Not sure why this year's edition is the opposite.
