There would be no Matt Gay without the opportunity the Rams gave him.

And yet, our FO doesn't put aside the money to pay him.

And now we may be forced to spend draft capital on a (fucking) kicker.

Unreal.

I'm hoping we draft or pick up a young kicker at this point. This upcoming year, we're only going as far as our offense takes us so it would be good for a young kicker to progress enough to be ready for 2024.

Well.... when you don't have a QB worth a shit.... might as well pay a kicker 5 million per. How else are they gonna score any points.

At least dolt fans have something to get excited about. LOL

Maybe Rams can find a decent kicker in the 7th round? Greg Zuerline had a few good years as a 6th round pick. He seemed to have lost his edge the last couple years with the Rams. But he was a weapon when he was at his peak. We'll always remember those clutch kicks in the NFCCG.

Jake Moody in the 6th & Punter Michael Turk in the 7th and lets see what Chase Blackburn has.

Does that give The Rams a Comp pick in 2024 ? Either way draft The Michigan Kid 5th rd. Circle as value & not chasing.- IMO

Have stated from the start.
—Matt Gay’s Brother in Law is a player from UTAH he thought to kick & might be a kicker to keep an eye on ? Matt Gay is a STUD though. Built like a LBEr. Dude is yolked.

is Dicker committed to Chargers? Maybe bring him back? Proven and looks like a solid leg.

Should have kept him if Gay wasn't in the long-term plans. Easy to say now as they thought they had a good chance to go far last year.

They have the extra picks this year to draft kickers. Hopefully, they pick the right ones that will save valuable cap space for a few years.
