It was talked about and litigated to death, there's no more discussion to be had about it... just arguing to argue and every take ends up having a political element to it.

The name is gone FOREVER. Might as well bitch and moan about the death of the copper land line or coming disappearance of human truck drivers.

Why is it so damn hard to just leave politics at the door?

This is especially frustrating because many of those who are the loudest about 'no politics' are among the first to violate that with their own not subtle takes.

Just fuckin stop. There is no obligation to post one's views about the old name.

For real... can we just focus on coming together as Rams fans from all walks of life and celebrate our team and fandom? Is that really too much to ask?

So sad, as a card carrying Native American (Yurok) I can say this. A great deal of us were OK with the Redskins name.
Go to a Indian Reservation on a hot day when a lot of young men are gathering for a function.
You will see far more Redskins tattoos than any other place on earth.
But leave it to other people to tell us how we are supposed to feel.
This decision is not about us.
If it were we would still have much of "the good" land. Not shoved onto scrub brush and they give you a casino like some sort of pacifier. Not a good trade.
My people are fortunate, still have our harvest-able ancestral lands.
As a kid I always rooted for the Redskins when the Rams were not involved because I felt like "I was supposed to." I identified with them.

They should've gone with the classic spear logo/helmets. But cancel culture made them so afraid to lose money they settled for this.

I really don't see anyone offended by a damn spear, and I get that they wanted to go away from that whole reference entirely so no need to explain, but that reason isn't good enough. #1 they were forced to change was the name, that was the huge gripe being a slur and all. Maybe the indian head was #2 and I don't agree but I get it. Again if people get upset by a spear then they have some real issues.

While not my favorite sports name they could've called them the Lancers (or something cooler) with that logo.

The W on the helmet looks very college... Wisconsin.

I'll still congratz anyone wearing the old cool stuff.

I'm not sure about unmanned as I am about assisted automation. I think they keep someone in the cab for a long time.
But.. open road driving is the easiest thing for automated vehicles to do.. and that'll change the dynamic of the job, for sure.
