I said in the thread that to beat the 49ers we had to do something different than what we always did. Morris came into this game with the same game plan that didn't work against the 49ers every other time we played them, once again giving the huge cushions and yielding the short passes to them. And here's the stats that Jimmy G had:

21-25, 235 yards, 9.4/att, 2 TD, O INT, 132 rating.

That. Is. SCHEME. And that's on Morris, and McVay too for letting him do it.

Yes, the O only got 14 points, but we moved the ball well for a while. The wheels didn't start falling off until in the 3rd quarter on the drive where, thanks the the shitty scheme, the 49ers drove right down the field and took the lead.

Fuck Morris.

Again pass rush. It can halt those drives a sack a loss a false start more man rush 4 .....it's obvious. Jimmy having 4 incompletions or wteva tells you all you need to know. Yes the scheme sucks but with out a rush any sche you play will make you toast.

I'm not in favor of getting Chubb, I'd rather give up future draft picks to trade up and get someone who will make a difference. We aren't going to the SB, it's time to face the music, our OL injuries and lack of drafting anybody worth a shit (drafting 155lb gimmick WR than a All-Pro center) that are cheap and difference makers cost us this season.

We need to realize we have lost this battle (season) and time to prepare to win the war (before AD retires) because our DL is going to be shit without him.

Yeah our OL is absolutely horrible inside the 5 yard line

They were decent for a lot of the game from all the misdirections in the first half which McVay went away from in the second half.

Stafford’s arm is completely fine. He threw some straight up seeds today. But we can’t take advantage because no one can get behind the secondary. Not having a deep threat makes the lack of running game hurt even more.

So If you're saying we should send more blitzes than I might agree (although we're blitz heavy already) but if you want derion Kendrick or Taylor Rapp in right coverage they're gonna get torn to shred like they did.

So If you're saying we should send more blitzes than I might agree (although we're blitz heavy already) but if you want derion Kendrick or Taylor Rapp in right coverage they're gonna get torn to shred like they did.

I still would do it and hope our DL gets there before he can get rid of the ball

And again only on 3rd down and long and have a deep safety to cover any deep shit (not Rapp - he should only be covering anyone short over the middle

I’d be happy if this was a “we can at least beat our most hated division rival at least once a season” team. I gave up on running it back a while ago.

Agreed but your trying to keep everything in front because if you play man(which I want) they can call long ass routes and the games will be even bigger blowouts as even a mediocre QB looks unbeatable. That's why the one time we beat them was with Von. Did you see how many times CMC got the edge went rt around. Or even his recieving touchdown Jimmy had all day.
Yes the ball coming out fast is true but if Jimmy is going through 3 progressions which he did numerous times you have problems when Jimmy is actually going to be Maholmes Herbert etc
