On the bright side, maybe this takes Staley out of the HC running?

I just went back through a bit of the GDT and the PBP on the Rams app ... WTF are we doing calling long passes on 3rd and 4 and then 4th and 4 with the game on the line? All we need is 4 yards, get the fucking first down. Those shit play calls are totally on McVay. And Staley with the goddamn fucking soft coverage, I HATE that shit.

All we had to do was beat an 0-13 team to make the playoffs, and we completely shit the bed. Totally outcoached, they must have been looking forward to the Seattle game.

We're probably a one-and-done team if we do get to the playoffs. If we somehow don't, it's on McVay more than anyone, and it's this game in particular because he fucking blew it. He's got to be smarter than this.

Was it in 95' that the Cowboys destroyed everybody and won the SB and we beat them pretty handedly?

We still got this but it happens unfortunately.

Coaches since the beginning of the history of football have been trying to motivate teams from losing these trap games. It is difficult to do. Otherwise trap games wouldn't exist. The only one that has succeeded has been Bill B. That is because he runs his team like an army battalion.
If McVay thinks he’ll ever be in the same conversation as Bill Belichick he’s wrong. You do NOT lose to an 0-13 team that has no real incentive to win.

I wouldn’t take either one to build a team around. I tried getting behind Goff , but it’s impossible. 2 careless flip throws today , and horrible passes needing 4 yards in crunch time.
Both guys were covered and he hasn’t completed a long pass in forever. That’s on him. Pathetic

VERY scary to think that it's not impossible that we lose our next 2 games too!
God!!!

It may go either way -- we will either fire up and win our last two games and get some momentum for a playoff run or we will lose all confidence and miss the playoffs all together.

Will tell us a lot about this group.

We regrettably look like we'll be the 7th seed in the playoffs ..... if we're lucky!

I still can't believe those 2 calls on 3/4th and short.

McVay isn't as smart as he thinks.

Those were the ball game right there. There were plenty of high percentage pass plays, as well as run plays that could have gotten us the first down. So he goes with low percentage pass plays.

That's not on Goff, that's not on the OL, that's not on anyone else but McVay.

Just a total team loss... from the waterboy right up to McVay. Woods played good today..., Webster... anyone else?

I’m just about done with Everett he can go to some other team and half ass it ... I’m done with nsimba the closest he has ever come to making something happen on a return and gets tackled by the punter I could have beaten him on that return with that much space

Mcvay is such a fucking mystery with his play calling and I can’t figure it why ... the guy gets into his own head way to much

Goff had a shit first half and a decent second half ...

We are what we are inconsistent and undisciplined and frankly I think that game may have been a dampener on the Staley for the next big HC job ... but credit to the jets there are coaches there playing for their jobs an interim DC and far old playing for his job (be out at teh nets or elsewhere )

We better not lose to the fucking hawks next week

Can't wait for the presser.. "I've got to get better ... I put the offense in bad positions ... I'll go back and look at the tape."

I'm a huge McVay fan but this is the kick in the teeth the entire organisation needs -- we're not that good that we can under prepare or get ahead of ourselves.

Congrats to the Jets - they wanted this win far more than the Los Angeles Rams organisation did.

Off season: McVay hires an honest-to-God OC and lets him call the plays. Draft heavy on Offense, on the line and find speed at WR.

Keep the off-season defections to a minimum on D.
