Off season: McVay hires an honest-to-God OC and lets him call the plays. Draft heavy on Offense, on the line and find speed at WR.

Keep the off-season defections to a minimum on D.

With 7 spots the current 8th seed would have to overtake us. The Bears are the 8th seed and can only tie us at 9-7 if they win out. I'm guessing the reason why we haven't clinched is the possibility a 3 way tie with us, the Bears and Cards. Currently we must not have a 3 way tiebreaker edge. But that could change. I gotta think the odds are in our favor to make the playoffs. If the Bears lose one game we should be in. After that things get iffy.

There’s shitting the bed then there’s whatever the fuck this was. I can live with the team shitting the bed against the Niners. Hell even against the Dolphins. But to the winless Jets who are the laughing stock of the league and who have absolutely NO reason to win this game. Yeah, fuck all that. This team is going nowhere near a Super Bowl. McVay needs to give coordinator duties to someone else, he was terrible.

On a side note. The Rams need a elite pass catching option. Starting to wonder if Woods or Kupp are game breakers anymore. Or do opposing defenses just know how to play us better. Hard to tell...

Woods and kupp are game breakers ... we have zero deep threat ... I’m a 42 year guy from england that has zero coaching football experience ... and all I would do as a DC to slow down the rams offense is sit on all those dig routes and crossers we used to run ... because cooks would take away the safeties ... deep leaving woods and kupp .. when was the last time we saw that 15 yard dig route that woods used to run ... we have no deep threat

The superbowl was a loss against arguably the greatest head coach/QB combination of this generation. This loss was against a guy who will probably never again hold a head coaching position in the NFL, a QB that everyone is casting off on his rookie contract, and a defensive coordinator they promoted after firing their full-time one.
