The turnovers were the difference in the game. Period.

Yeah, it’s good that we can be optimistic with how well the young Rams squad held up and all, but dammit, this game was winnable.
Too many mistakes. The Rams had there chances but made too many mistakes in the 2nd half.

The Rams have nothing to hang their heads about but they should be pissed and determined to take down the bengals next week.

I like our chances a helluva lot more than I did a month ago!

I think it is safe to say that we are a lot better than most people thought we would be. We went toe to toe with those guys - and as much as we all hate them - let’s admit, they are a really good team.

This Rams team can make the playoffs - and who knows what might happen after that. I’m interested to see what the offense looks like when Kupp returns and we are trotting out Kupp, Pukka, and Tutu in our 3WR sets.

Have to work a sign then trade deal. No way you give up two players and two picks without a contract agreed upon
Yeah, I guess that is the obvious part that I should have listed to!

The way things are going now, it looks like the only thing that can stop Puka from catching a shitload of balls is the return of Kupp combined with the fact there is only one ball to spread around. Puka did it again today, and he did it against a D that is absolutely stacked, and without Kupp on the field. When they are both on the field and with Tutu really looking like a legit WR who can run all the routes, we are going to cause defenses a lot of problems.

We played a pretty good game…

This team has some spunk.

I agree but not everyone would share that enthusiasm.

Nobody is going to tell me this league isn't rigged after what I just watched clearly. I am done being played.

When those mother fuckers reversed the correct flag/call they made for illegal contact because they tried to claim Stafford was outside of the pocket... only a fucking idiot would not see the robbery happening right before their eyes in broad daylight.

I'm gonna have a hard time taking this league seriously going forward. They must believe that the paying customers are blind and ignorant. I'm not a lemming. That was more bullshit than I can take.

I'd be better off watching soap operas or pro wrestling and believing it is real.

I simply cannot take this shit seriously anymore.

Get the fuck outta here. If that shit isn't addressed with serious consequences... I'm gonna be done.

I am not disappointed by this game at ALL...9ers are superbowl contenders

The Good...
Puka is the best WR in the league RIGHT NOW
*WITH A TIE/LEAD* Rams completely neutralized 9ers pass rush for 3 quarters
Kyren is a baller
Tutu had another great game
Ernest Jones was stout in run support
Byron Young flashes

Bad:
Derion Kendrick didn't have his greatest game (maybe Duke Shelley time)
Rookie mistake by Kyren
Bad game overall (horrible blocking and was responsible for an INT)...
Bad edge play

Way more good than bad, i'm glad they got this loss out of the way. They will be better prepared next time. Guys like Kyren, Puka, Kobie Turner, Tutu, and Ernest Jones will only continue to get better...and eventually, we'll have Kupp, Puka, and Tutu on the field at the same time...

Um, superbowl 36 did that for me.

Donald didn't record a stat in this game, not even an assisted tackle. Need more from him.

I wouldn't really mind it too much if we keep the current trend going..... ...where we frequently lose to the 49ers but we win playoff games and superbowls while they settle for attendance competitions and regular season accolades....

The Rams actually player better than I expected. And Seattle scoring 37 points against Detroit shows our defense is not that bad despite how young we are.

Couple observations:

How do the whiners call two roll out plays where Purdy lobs the ball up in the air right before the half and only 5 seconds rans off on each play, giving them 1 second to score a TD before halftime?

Dweebo fumbled that ball by the sideline with the score tied and we recovered. The replay shows the ball coming loose before dweebo hit the ground. The whiners even called a timeout after the play and it wasn't reviewed. The reverse angle looked like the ball was still inbounds.

There was a play in the 2nd half where Purdy was about to be sacked when a Olineman arm reached out to grab the Rams defender to slow him down just enough for Purdy to get rid of the ball.

Only one holding call was made - against the Rams which eventually led to our first turnover when AD was getting bear hugged on so many plays throughout the game.

Intentional grounding called on Stafford on a route that the WR missed even though Stafford wasn't unloading the ball to avoid a sack.

This one is on Morris. I saw 5-6 plays where the whiners had a TE and a RB on one side of the field and either McCrapfee or Dickweed Samuel runs to that side in motion and Purdy dumps the ball there for big gains. It was hard to watch when you see it happening, knowing that's where the ball is going.

On the bright side, our running game was fairly effective against their defense and Stafford looks like he's solid again. Puka Nacua and Kupp will be very hard to defend when both are on the field and Tutu is a good change of pace receiver.

I cannot complain about the performance of the young Rams. One concern is we hoisted 55 passes, and only 22 Rush attempts. If we keep that up, we are going to get Stafford Hurt. Puka is the football version of Fernando Valenzuela….a real phenom. Kyren played a very good game minus the deflection off his hands. He has very good vision. The play was a bit fast for the young fellas, but if we could have collected even one turnover, things may have been different. The Niner TD just before half was just a very weird sequence with the clock…how you end up with 1 second left after a throw to the end zone is, shall we say..”fortuitous” of course getting 2 dpi’s on successive plays from Kendrick didn’t help. On the long pass bailout call..if Kendrick would have turned his head just a little to track the ball…that would have been a no call…very typical contact on a bang bang play. The ref’s showed confirmation bias in some of their very critical calls:
1. Holding Call on Higbee on first drive
2. The DPI on Kendrick
3. The illegal contact picked up after saying Stafford was outside the pocket
4. The intentional grounding called against Stafford.
The forty whiners were supposed to win, therefore, calls that show that belief by helping it along.
You would have thought Purdy is the SuperBowl winning quarterback, and Stafford was the kid drafted last with something to prove.

We are a playoff caliber team. When Kupp is back, teams are fucked
100% - And folks probably don't realize it but Puka can get behind a defense and go up and catch the ball in traffic if you need him to play that role.

Going to have a nasty pass game with the Oline, Stafford and triplets creating seperation. Remember when manning had Wayne and Harrison. Or Warner had Bruce and Holt and Hakim. Fun stuff.

.

I'm still burning about the amount of drives the refs screwed for the Rams with their shit calls.

Fucking cocks.
