Unfortunately, we have a few games like that this year.and playing a rested team off their bye week
What I think the league does is slant their calls to the team they perceive to be weaker to help achieve parity. But yes the product is shit, too many commercials and I am about fed up wasting my time slogging through 2 hours of advertising and waiting on ref decisions to determine every game outcome.Check my post history. I haven't watched much football in the last 3 or 4 years, but I thought I'd check a game out because it's been a while. The NFL is just a terrible product. So many commercials. Games literally take the entire day. And the officiating has been terrible for as long as I can remember. The fact that it hasn't been fixed by now tells me it's by design.
The problem is posters have their little stances they want to protect at all costs, in this case a rabid avoidance of any criticism of the DC.did you watch the 4th quarter bro? they were a knife through butter the last 3 drives.
we let them run off 5 minutes at the end to win the game.
Sure those things you say are true about Stafford and Maher.. oil but the defense is definitely to blame as well.
did Stafford, maher, and Mcvay give up 200 yards and 14 pts in the 4th quarter?
Stafford was mediocre. He panicked a few times and was rushing the ball out. Not fully his fault, as he has endured some of the worst OL protections this season, but we go as he goes.Stafford didn’t get much help on that play. First of all it stupid by McVay to open up the 2H in empty like that, but they dropped their DL into coverage and Watt just made an incredible play. Stafford was pretty good for most of the day. Dropped passes killed multiple drives and McVay getting away from the run made moving the ball harder.
The sense of entitlement and lack of perspective in our fan base, frankly, is rather disgusting. We have gone from them throwing in the towel before the season, to now acting like we should dominate every opponent. It really is mind boggling some old folks on the internet think they have any more knowledge than a Super Bowl Winning Head Coach at play calling. Complaining McVay didn’t run it at all when the Rams ran it 31 times to 29 passing plays.
This ain’t Madden and McVay has forgotten more football knowledge (which is very little) than you’ll ever know in your lifetime. Chill out.

I agree not what I'm saying though if something works for 3 quarters consider yourself lucky but then forcing it and handing the ball RT back to an offense who has momentum and a defense that's tired and on its heels it's all about adjustingIdk but the Rams did have two back to back weeks of running the ball well.
That is what great TEs do. They big body defenders across the middle and make plays. He heard footsteps.even if Higs made the catch, he was about to get popped and probably would have dropped it anyway
I don't get how that could be an oversight either. I'm sure a lot of thinking by supposedly intelligent professionals goes into scheduling.Unfortunately, we have a few games like that this year.
It should be something that’s looked at by the League moving forward.
It’s BS.

Agreed. This feels like a filling holes year. We knew that coming in though. We were expecting to be awful. Now we're just good enough to be frustrating lol. But to be this young that is a good start.I hear ya. I just always think of this article and how it feels like we just trying to fill holes and not going by talent.
Only 4 players from Sean McVay's first 3 drafts are still on the Rams
The Rams only have 4 players still under contract from their 2017-2019 draft classestheramswire.usatoday.com

It is old. It's beyond old reading people pissing and moaning about it on this board. The reasons are obvious the solution is equally obvious. Sadly it's going to take some time to change it but not sure it ever will change because scalpers own a lot of the season tickets and the team won't take them away from them.
I agree. It's like our offense gets lulled to sleep or something. The creativity and rhythm go out the door.I agree not what I'm saying though if something works for 3 quarters consider yourself lucky but then forcing it and handing the ball RT back to an offense who has momentum and a defense that's tired and on its heels it's all about adjusting
That’s a catch every TE in the NFL should make.even if Higs made the catch, he was about to get popped and probably would have dropped it anyway
I think an AI similar makes the schedules. NFL probably doesn't care about bye weeks and stuff. It matters on a team by team basis but the league doesn't care.I don't get how that could be an oversight either. I'm sure a lot of thinking by supposedly intelligent professionals goes into scheduling.
You're right, because the first half of week one was basically just them surviving. I think they had 7 points? This team appears to be incapable of having a complete game. Week 1 was the closest. Since then they're only good for a half.
