Beating a dead horse here… one of the reasons the DBs get exposed is no pass rush. There’s just not enough talent there and the situation is only going to get worse as season goes along.

Check my post history. I haven't watched much football in the last 3 or 4 years, but I thought I'd check a game out because it's been a while. The NFL is just a terrible product. So many commercials. Games literally take the entire day. And the officiating has been terrible for as long as I can remember. The fact that it hasn't been fixed by now tells me it's by design.
What I think the league does is slant their calls to the team they perceive to be weaker to help achieve parity. But yes the product is shit, too many commercials and I am about fed up wasting my time slogging through 2 hours of advertising and waiting on ref decisions to determine every game outcome.
did you watch the 4th quarter bro? they were a knife through butter the last 3 drives.

we let them run off 5 minutes at the end to win the game.

Sure those things you say are true about Stafford and Maher.. oil but the defense is definitely to blame as well.

did Stafford, maher, and Mcvay give up 200 yards and 14 pts in the 4th quarter?
The problem is posters have their little stances they want to protect at all costs, in this case a rabid avoidance of any criticism of the DC.
Stafford didn’t get much help on that play. First of all it stupid by McVay to open up the 2H in empty like that, but they dropped their DL into coverage and Watt just made an incredible play. Stafford was pretty good for most of the day. Dropped passes killed multiple drives and McVay getting away from the run made moving the ball harder.
Stafford was mediocre. He panicked a few times and was rushing the ball out. Not fully his fault, as he has endured some of the worst OL protections this season, but we go as he goes.
It really is mind boggling some old folks on the internet think they have any more knowledge than a Super Bowl Winning Head Coach at play calling. :laugh2: Complaining McVay didn’t run it at all when the Rams ran it 31 times to 29 passing plays.

This ain’t Madden and McVay has forgotten more football knowledge (which is very little) than you’ll ever know in your lifetime. Chill out.
The sense of entitlement and lack of perspective in our fan base, frankly, is rather disgusting. We have gone from them throwing in the towel before the season, to now acting like we should dominate every opponent.

This is the vent thread right? I'm not in the wrong post...........I'm trying decide if complaining about fans complaining about a loss is worse then fans complaining about a loss.

Seems like we have two vent personalities: 1= Vent at bad game play by their team 2 = Vent at fans who don't vent the way they want them to...........oh shoot.....3 = Vent at fans who vent at fans venting about bad game play!

We play 16 away games and 1 home game. Seems like the only time we have a home crowd is when we play the Cardinals.

Idk but the Rams did have two back to back weeks of running the ball well.
I agree not what I'm saying though if something works for 3 quarters consider yourself lucky but then forcing it and handing the ball RT back to an offense who has momentum and a defense that's tired and on its heels it's all about adjusting

even if Higs made the catch, he was about to get popped and probably would have dropped it anyway
That is what great TEs do. They big body defenders across the middle and make plays. He heard footsteps.

Again, though, this roster has very little room for error.

Unfortunately, we have a few games like that this year.
It should be something that’s looked at by the League moving forward.

It’s BS.
I don't get how that could be an oversight either. I'm sure a lot of thinking by supposedly intelligent professionals goes into scheduling.

Rams allow shitty Steeler Canada offense, who fans wanted fired, to dominate 2nd half

Defense can't tackle, even Donald misses vs Pickett

Defense can't cover, everyone getting burned in 2nd half

Refs bullshit spot when Pickett slips and doesn't make it

Steelers players running their mouths all game, Rams got bullied by a team they should've beaten

The kicker had the yips in that playoff, now he fucking has it again

Rams kept giving the Steelers life by missing opps

Fucking 40whiners clown the Steelers, so then they clown the Rams

LT AJ gets beaten like a rented mule, he's not the answer

McVay now 0-2 vs Tomlin. He just cannot beat him or Rat Boy to save his life!

Steelers fans turn Sofi into Heinz Field, I'm fucking sick of hearing that every team travels well

Announcers always byas vs Rams

FUCK THIS SHITTY GAME

3 of them if im not mistaken. And two back to back. Not sure why the NFL isn't more aware of this

I hear ya. I just always think of this article and how it feels like we just trying to fill holes and not going by talent.

Agreed. This feels like a filling holes year. We knew that coming in though. We were expecting to be awful. Now we're just good enough to be frustrating lol. But to be this young that is a good start.

The thing that hurts the most, that I can't FUCKING stand...is that this team gave us hope the first 2 games of the season. If you're gonna pull amateur bullshit, pull it all fucking season. Don't give us hope just to squash what we thought we had.

It's beyond old reading people pissing and moaning about it on this board. The reasons are obvious the solution is equally obvious. Sadly it's going to take some time to change it but not sure it ever will change because scalpers own a lot of the season tickets and the team won't take them away from them.
It is old.

They can't take the seats away unless you commit a legit crime. Even that would be difficult to do. The Rams sold the rights to the seats and how one uses them. Every NFL stadium works the same way. Even the Doom in St Screwus was set up that way.

Every stadium has ticket brokers in the game. SoFi is not the exception, they are the rule.

Checkout how many tickets are available to the whiner game in Santa Clara later this year.

I agree. It's like our offense gets lulled to sleep or something. The creativity and rhythm go out the door.

This team appears to be incapable of having a complete game. Week 1 was the closest. Since then they're only good for a half.

I think an AI similar makes the schedules. NFL probably doesn't care about bye weeks and stuff. It matters on a team by team basis but the league doesn't care.

You're right, because the first half of week one was basically just them surviving. I think they had 7 points?

Personally, we need someone in the ownership to take away McVay's ability to pick RBs because all of them are jags built for a multi back system that doesn't work.

I miss the power of our old running game which led to teams scheming against it and allowing play action. When I see Stafford perform a play action pass now, I start sweating and counting down as the Oline collapses and Stafford is milliseconds away from a sack or throwing a pick.
