Vent thread - Rams robbed by refs and kicker.

Team is still better than I thought it would be. We panic at times which could be a follow the leader affect.

The kicker and the defense melted down but if Higbee catches that freaking seam route the Rams win this game easy. Why in fuck did he get a contract extension?

Two Kupp drops, a no show by Kendrick, a poor Q4 plan and execution by Rah, a terrible game by Jones, terrible kicking effort by Maher, and just all around poor execution. Even by the refs, the QB just laughed about it in postgame. No PI by Kendrick, ref listened to Tomlin yelling in his ear. That’s 1st year Official bull crap.

Edit: And special mention for our owner who has futbol teams overseas. He knows what a home field advantage is. And yet we have this in LA? Damn time to form a hooligan squad in LA instead of the marketing garbage by this Ram organization. Embarrassing!!

Check my post history. I haven't watched much football in the last 3 or 4 years, but I thought I'd check a game out because it's been a while. The NFL is just a terrible product. So many commercials. Games literally take the entire day. And the officiating has been terrible for as long as I can remember. The fact that it hasn't been fixed by now tells me it's by design.

Maher and Stafford gave them 17 points. They scored 10 off Maher's misses which cost us 7 then Stafford turns the ball over in the red zone which really is a 24 point swing. Be pissed all you want at the defense but they didn't cost us the game. That same defense gave them 64 yards in the first half. Maher makes kicks and Stafford starts protecting the ball we win this game with ease.

Nope. Definitely two plays by 1 that gave them lots of yardage.

Both things can be true. The fact that the three names you listed shit the bed doesn't excuse the refs making bad calls, especially the spot at the end. Probably wouldn't have made a difference, but it doesn't excuse that shit.

If you rely on the refs to win the game you have larger issues. We do our business the refs don't lose us this game. Play and coach better and there's little chance the zebras can affect you.

I know I say this all the time, but I hate McVay's offense........it was cute in the beginning but hasn't been effective in awhile and at other times I don't know how we won some games.

Just get no satisfaction from watching them. All 3 wins were boring minus the great run game against the Cardinals .

did you watch the 4th quarter bro? they were a knife through butter the last 3 drives.

we let them run off 5 minutes at the end to win the game.

Sure those things you say are true about Stafford and Maher.. but the defense is definitely to blame as well.

Honestly the Steelers do have a very good D. Ours is average at best.
Biggest issue was the terrible Stafford throw to start the 2nd half. That changed the entire trajectory of the game. If they come out running and drive for at least 3 points then I think we end up winning.
Lastly with the two minute warning coming McVay has to keep that last timeout in his pocket just in case. With that said even if they get the spot right I don't see us winning the game down 7 at that point.
