Naw.....it's the 10 yard cushion by our CB's and opposing QB's dumping it off in less than three seconds....in some some cases less than two seconds. No way for even the great Aaron Donald to get there in time.
The Chiefs weren't running a ton of bubble screens and quick hits. They were going downfield.
Last week as well.
This team doesn't have a pass rush, outside of Aaron Donald.

Possible Reasons

1) Conditioning and Strength Coaches not up to par (I believe we did lose an important strength and conditioning coach last year)
2) Turf at SOFI needs to be replaced after a few years wear and tear
3) Players selected in the drafts have a history of being injured (I haven't checked that statement - just throwing it out there)
4) Just unlucky

Or all of the above in some way contribute to it

1. If you're thinking Ted Rath, he has not been with the Rams since 2019.

2. The Rams' starting-five-OL missed a total of five games in 2021, and nine games in 2020 ... in SOFI.

3. Brian Allen and Joseph Noteboom both had healthy college careers. As I recall, David Edwards did have an injury in his last year at Wisconsin, played through it but did not have a strong season; and that was a factor in Edwards falling into the fifth round.

4. Unlucky ... Maybe ... How about That's Just Football.

Much truth here.

But the Upper staff agreed to Noteboom for 40 mil, 3 years, 25 mil guaranteed.

I love the SB win this last year, but they didn't have to do that.

Hope it was just a "coincidence" Which I do not believe in.

Eleven weeks and eleven different starting O-lines is a management problem.

Lets hope this genius grows up and fixes this big mess.
11 O line combos in 11 games is an injury issue. If health wasn't an issue maybe you see no more than half that many if they have to mix-and-match looking for the best combo.

What we're seeing is injuries and injuries alone at this point derailing everything.

So nine different o-line injuries are not a coincidence.

What is acceptable when it does not become a management question?

12, 13 , 14 ,15, 16, 17, end of season?

Come on man. One has to question the methods at this point.

We have to if our job depends on it.
I get your point...and I've applied that logic to the Niners for several years b/c they suffer a large number of inuries...every year and have since Shanahan arrived.

We've had two bad injury years in McVay's six seasons. And this is well beyond the norm, in other words an outlier based on the sample we have.

I don't agree that it's 'injuries alone' but I do believe injuries have been the primary cause for a hugely disappointing and frustrating season; and I believe the extreme number and seriousness of the injuries to the O-Line has been the biggest factor ... By Far!

Nine O-Linemen have been lost for an extended number of games, including seven of the projected top-8.

The 11 different line combinations is a Huge Factor. Continuity on the O-Line is Critical.

In support of that OL Continuity opinion, I offer the Falcons in 2016; and the Rams' in 2017 and 2018.
The 2016 Falcons were the only team in the NFL to start the same five OL every game for 16 games ... #1 in Scoring
The 2017 Rams were the only team in the NFL to start the same five OL every game through 15 games before they sat several starters ... #1 in Scoring
The 2018 Rams were the only team in the NFL to start the same five OL every game for 16 games ... #2 in Scoring; and they scored more points than in 2017

That's NOT a Coincidence. Strong offenses need a Good O-Line ... and a Healthy O-Line.

I don't know if the Rams' 2022 projected O-Line would have been any good. However, it sure was never healthy.

Enjoy it, it will still be a great time and you'll get to see the place where we wont it all (if of course you have not already been).....
Yeah... still looking forward to visting Kronke's house! :woozy2:
Won't get to many games, living so far away, as it becomes somewhat cost prohibitive.

My daughter and I went to a game at the LA Coliseum in 2018 and that was a good visit. This time, taking my wife (who could care less about football), my daughter & her friend. So, basically, me and three (casual) lady Seahawk fans...

I hate any success they have. They copied our model and went all in with the picks. We won it all. It will be very satisfying seeing them fall short and have to come back next year with a quarterback who has very little experience. If they keep Garoppolo it will mean they're admitting they were wrong to give up all those picks. If they go with Lance it could cost them a season while the window is still open.

Last few seasons everybody was heaping praise on Reggie Scott because of the relative health of the team and stuff like getting Akers back on the field so fast. Please never change ROD you don't ever fail to amuse :D

I'm refraining from commenting on anything other than Reggie. For instance I haven't even pointed out once how many times people fail to understand how far 10 yards is :D

DAMNIT!
