Detroit and green bay both suck as well....

im pretty sure we could actualyl score against the lions... green bay maybe not.
Nah that D is legit. We're looking at a 6-3 win likely unless the D scores for us.

Without that last drive, we win that game. A game against a beat up opponent that can't run and can't catch passes.

Then what? We're in the hunt at 4-4, with two games against our division leader?

That would give us hope that with this pathetic offense, and broken soft shell defense designed to tire out our own players, we could actually make the playoffs.

Now we don't have to be disappointed.
At least I can enjoy my soccer team. One game left before the break for the World Cup and Arsenal are top of the league.

Right there with you man. The good thing about that last drive was that I don't have to watch the Rams play this shit football anymore. The season ended for me today.

Too funny when the first thing McVay says in his presser after the game is the defense did enough to give us a win the offense didn't do enough and that includes me. His whole post game is about the offense needing to be better.
I guess I'm in the minority here but I agree with McVay's assessment.

The D held Tampa to 9 points for 59 minutes. And yeah, then they gave up the back breaker on the last drive. Tampa had the ball at their own 42 with 44 seconds left and no timeouts; I agree with McVay's decision to run out the clock and try to lean on his D to close out the game. Unfortunately the D gave up their one TD drive at the end. Derion Kendrick is definitely looking like the weak link; he got abused on both of the last crucial two plays.

The offense is utterly horrid. Aside from the one long pass to Kupp, the offense got what, 130 yards or so? And 2 field goals? Yeah the loss was frustrating, but IMHO the offense again deserves the vast majority of the blame.

When you allow an OL to keep his job when he's a fucking turnstile what it says to the team is zero accountability. They should have put Nsekhe in there and not looked back.

Stafford is not going to survive this season because not only is the OL shit but everything is now on the QB to make plays. It is only a matter of time before he is seriously hurt.

I think McVay knows this OL is not going to get better. But at the very least you can put some pads on and use this stretch of time to find your run game because if you don't this window is as good as closed. Stafford is no spring chicken. A big injury may end up being his last.

He is, but all you're going to hear around here is fire Morris. McVay keeps getting a pass though.
Honestly school I agree some stupid as shit especially the runs but he did lose his grandfather which sucks and I agree definitely not the defense. As obnoxious as it is all he can do is call himself out but what would you want I'm curious. Call better play lol turn over play calling?

To me it's alarming or concerning that the team wasn't more fired up for their coach and his loss. Maybe foolio on to something. They were blah.

I'm right there with you but be careful. I'm a terrible person and an idiot for thinking the offense needs work and the defense has kept us in games.

It's starting to look like McVay may not be as good at coaching as he at picking assistants. His OCs do really well went they leave.

Personally, I think the Rams have never stopped celebrating their Super Bowl victory!! This season has been a waste!! Maybe, McVay and the other coaches and players will come ready to play next season!!

Maybe. I am totally wrong but McVay just doesn’t seem to have the same Intensity and Fire as he has in the past!! But, I guess it is hard to keep that Intensity and Drive all the time?!!

Yes it was terrible him losing somebody who was so important to him. That's just one week though he doesn't have that for every other game.

I doubt we will see Evans in there again after today.

My complaint with the defense is the same as we have already seen this season where they give up the deep sideline in two minute. You cannot give a team both distance and clock. You can give them one or the other in a prevent approach. But you cannot give them the deep sideline. Giving them the deep sideline = you gonna lose games because they do not have to pay for the distance in units of time.

Morris needs to sit these corners down and explain that to them. Rams need to be situational masters. That's the vision. Giving up chunks down the sideline cannot happen. That has to be a rarity not a recurrence.

Id agree with letting your defense win a game for you, however as a coach you should recognize if your defense is tired. They aren't robots and if your offense looks like st marys elementary schools offense then understand that the defense probably tired thought you could kill a 1:24 hence the unnecessary celebration but you could even call one play to end that game. Just wow.

He's a great coach and motivator. He may just need to turn over more day to day and game control of the offense to his OC for a change. Let him manage the team.
