I just have a hard time accepting.. that even with the line injuries.. that the offense is THIS BAD.
I'm right there with you. It feels like the NE Super Bowl where Belicheat threw that 6 man front against us. Disbelief that we couldn't adjust.

This time, we have a few plays that had some cleverness to them: Kupp's two long passes were creative, especially the one where Stafford bought his own time in the pocket and went back to Kupp against the grain. But no sign of leveraging ARob on slants after he proved early on this was successful and ARob could win those tight battles.

I am thanking our lucky stars that we grabbed McVay as a coach, but he should follow his own philosophy of accountability and focus on being a better game time General. If he's not comfortable with that, fine. Be the General in the tent and let your field officers deal with the battle.

Right now, I grow of weary of watching him review his MS Surface/iPad yet come out with the same calls.

Do you people realize that the offense cannot gain any yards at all? They cannot run the ball, they cannot throw the ball, nor can they get a first down. If the defense was as bad as the offense, the score yesterday would have been 63-0. I am just as disgusted by the soft cover defense as the rest of you, but they are not the problem. The offense is non-existent, and that is the problem. Blame it on the line, on the running backs, on McVay... it doesn't really matter. What does matter is that they are totally inept on offense and McVAy needs to fix it.
He won't and maybe he can't.

Sad part is until the last of the 4th quarter the D played pretty well and we had no reason to lose.
The offense is just bad for many reasons. But the fact Sean keeps starting "turnstile" Evans is beyond a head scratcher. The dude is the softest lineman I've ever seen. You can't do anything about bad luck (health) but you can certainly try someone (ANYONE) to improve protection. Come up with new plays to get the running game going. Call more (RB screens). Sean has to figure out something to change the way we're playing and not keep getting Stafford killed.

We are 3-5 and should or could be 5-3 if we could score any freaking points. For freaks sake, TUTU with his spead could get 5 yards on quick screens. IDK man, try anything but the same things over and over that aren't working.
Time to earn your new paycheck Sean.

It's shaping up as McVay's first losing season in the NFL.
What will be his reaction? Run away to TV? I just don't see that.
If he stays.. he has no first rounder.. so, what does he do?
I think most of us think that with a real running game and line.. this team could be more than just competitive. How they get there? We'll see.
But this year? Nope.

I feel you, but I really think it is, and because of the injuries. OL won't allow us to run the ball at all. Also, won't allow any time to throw, other than quick hitters. We generally have some limited success in the 1st half, because they scheme up some creative ways to minimize the OL deficiencies, but that only lasts so long, and the other team's D adjusts to what we are doing, and our offence is even worse in the 2nd half.

I was really hoping to see them get Bobby Evans out of there once Nsekhe had some success when Jackson went out for a few plays. I have to believe that Nsekhe, Jackson is 300% better than Jackson, Evans on the left side. Everything starts with the O-Line, and God Damn is frustrating to watch Evans out there.

Last game I remember the Rams giving away a game they should've won was at SF back in 2015 or 16. The one where AD went ape and got ejected. They've blown some others, but this was a W in hand and the worst one.

This speaks for itself. I do not like how we play soft in the pass defense but considering how much the defense is on the field you could crunch their rating to be much higher.

The whiner game score did not accurately indicate how well the defense played that game. The offense plainly just gave the whiner offense way too many opportunities.

The offense is as messy as I can remember. Our O-line is a complete wreck. And this is 100% on McVay. As it should be.

I am good coming off a SB championship season and having our great Head Coach eat some humble pie to prevent this shit happening in the future. I never give up in any season and certainly will not with this one. There are games to always win.

My money is next year things get fixed and we are a serious competitor.

GO RAMS!!!
Yup, there are more games to win. At the same time, the season is effectively (playoffs) over. There's no coming back from this...wasted year. They'll be lucky to win 7 or 8 games.

The 2016 season-opener on MNF.

They were never in that game, lost 28-0. Not sure what you're confusing it with...

We had 12 drives in the game. 9 punts.
8 of those 12 drives were 3 and outs.
5 of those 12 drives we produced NEGATIVE yardage.

Just inexcusable.

Rams offensive performance on Sunday was worse than anything in the entire Jeff Fisher era. One of the worst performances of the decade.

Well when you have the worst offensive performance by one OL player, that's going to happen.

Worst performance I have ever seen by an OL

Well - there’s 9 more games this season. It can either mean we go on a 9 game winning streak or we continue on the current trajectory of going 6-11. I’m frustrated as fuck right now but also know that there’s time to right the ship. 11-6 ain’t impossible.
Yes it is.
