They are chuckling at our D strategy on Sunday Night Football. Horrible strategy by Morris. Our O sucks, but that D strategy on that drive should get you fired

I was considering to go to the Broncos game. If this is the team the coaches are going to put on the field forget it. I'll be a lot happier buying friends and family gifts instead

Well, that was gutting, but not surprising.
In a close game against a struggling conference rival, we hand Brady the ball back in the final moments and trust we will stop them like we had done all game.
I mean, it's not ike Brady is good at closing games, is it *sigh*?

It's getting tiring reading about Bobby Evans, Kupp's one-man show, and Morris' defence, but not much else is hitting the headlines week in, week out.

So many problems in this game, however, there is a glaring one. Evans. He is gonna get Stafford killed and one of the big reasons Stafford looks afraid out there. On a couple of those sacks, Evans looked like he was frozen in a blocking stance and could not adjust whatsoever. Honestly, the line is beat to shit and that is a huge problem for the offense, but, footballs gods, why couldn't it have been Evans that got hurt? I legitimately think our offense as a whole would improve if he just took a seat on the bench. Or better yet, on the bus bench outside of SoFi after they cut him....

like i posted above.. i watched it a few times after it happened on the DVR

if he cut back into traffic he definately was not getting the 1st down.. his only chance was to try to beat them to the sideline

but looked unlikely and 100% likely to go out of bounds.
either way I would've taken the 3rd and 2. You need one first down. Go get it.

He wasn't getting the first down. As I posted above as well, he could have tried and maybe made it 3rd and 2 or he busts through which was unlikely. But 3rd and 2 gives us a better chance but we probably still would have run and not gained the yardage needed. Without passing, this ending was inevitable.

Didn't Williams get fired after giving up a TD on a final drive.

I like Morris but unless he stops doing the soft zone shit in the second half, I want Fangio

always defended mcvay... but he has his head pretty far up his ass right now.

what spinless play calling on both sides of the ball.
You’re exactly right sir, its baffling. He needs to re-boot or do something different because this shit has fallen off a cliff in a hurry. Maybe they blowed their wad last year. It sure is ugly.

With the offense completely broken and with the resources we have on defense it is imperative that the defense tries to win
some games and not just surrender like that!
Goff and the Lions beat Green Bay like that today. Something we can't seem to ever do.

Not much to say that others haven't said.

Evans even being on this team is an indictment of McVay; the fact that he's starting and destroying our offense is an even bigger indictment. Continuity, like consistency, is only virtue when it doesn't suck. It's just like it was two years ago with Austin Blythe as a weak link, now he's trotting out Bobby Evans whose even a weaker link. And McVay doesn't have Goff to dump all the blame on anymore. This is by far turning out to be his worst season as a coach.

I don't give a fuck about stats, Morris's scheme sucks harder than some pornstar bimbo in a blow job competition. Today, when we at least had a chance to escape with an ugly win, he and his pussy scheme fucking lost it. Fact is, his scheme has never been that good, and it needed two HOFers rushing the passer last year to cover up a lot of warts with it. Most teams don't even have one HOF pass rusher on their D. What worries me is that because he is getting so exposed he won't get a HC job next year but McVay, in his own stubborn stupidity, will keep him around and piss away another year with a D that underachieves its talent level.

Oh well, at least I won't be stressing in the playoffs this year, because we ain't gonna be there. And while injuries explain part of it, this year has been marked by a lot of really, really bad coaching on both sides of the ball. McVay and Morris should hang their heads in shame after this one.

There is one team we could score against - the lions.

He's probably happy to be in Detroit today. At least he has blockers in front of him. He had a shitload of time on his 2nd TD pass today and went to his 3rd read. If he was hear, he'd get killed by the OL, probably turn the ball over, and get blamed for everything.
He had to get rid of McVay to be able to beat Aaron Rodgers. I'd stay put too.

Kupp = 8 catches for 127 yards.

AR had 3 catches for 24 yards, Brown 1 for 10 yards and Powell 1 for 4 yards.

No one else managed to catch a single pass from Stafford though VanJeff was targeted 5 times, Skow twice and Higbee once.

Meanwhile Brady had nine different players make receptions.

We're as predictable on offense as we are on defense.
