The defense played good enough to win. The offense sucked all around, and that starts and ends with McVay. Horrible embarrassing loss that should have been a win.

How about when Higbee didn't go out of bounds on that last drive. I was gobsmacked. Hasn't this guy been playing football his whole life? What do you think was going through his brain when he decided to go back infield? Just another play that typified the kind of game this was for the Rams.

The tipped pass that went straight into the arms of chase? What kind of luck is that.

The refs overturning the tutu td but confirming the interception by the Bengals even though there was more evidence the ball moved on the ground than a shoe hitting the white paint? The Rams had no luck in that game.

This reminded me of the Tennessee game two years ago where McVay failed to run the ball again. Does he not learn from his past failures? This is a critical part of leadership.

Start spreading the news!! Was talking to a friend & before he went to sleep we both agreed the ball moved.The right hand or arm was never under the ball.There’s no way that ball is caught without the ground being how the Receiver didn’t catch it.—You have the body,ground & hand.
The example I would use is if you’re carrying. Doesn’t matter - there was no control.
—I’ve referred a lot of basketball & soccer.Tutu’s TD was the example of when a ball is out of bounds.His foot was out of bounds,but never touched out of bounds & the camera angle was as awesome as you could get to see that he never actually touched the white.You couldn’t have ask for a better view & there is no way that call should’ve been over turned.

Granted, Tutu was not out of bounds and we should already have had seven points on the board, but did Sean forget that Kyren has already scored three short-range rushing TDs this season?

He basically said they told him they were going right away after the call (REVIEW)!!

He actually wasn’t ready & didn’t have a play call in until after they overturned it.

CRAZY- I think he was actually in shock & Monday Night game speed caught him off guard.

Talk about shock value. Still what a bad call to take a sack.

venting. wow. if you're thinking of taking the tv money and are frazzled because of the tough year last year and your team is not really good and then you decide to stay, you have to be a better coach. that was inexcusable and really knocked coach down in the respect dept. we all knew this was going to be a 6-win year at best, but the coach will never change his spots and we will never get to see what we want from these rams and may be future rams' teams. his coach speak will be the same and predictable. we always need a good running back. that should always be the goal with a ram's team. It was obvious to me that the NFL didnt want joe burrows to go 0- 3. go rams.

There were a lot of issues with this game but ultimately Jackson going down is what sunk us... blame that on McVay or whatever but is what did us in. Pray Jackson isn't out long because Stafford won't make it otherwise.

But hard to let go of the Tutu touchdown, which was called as such on the field, being overturned by angles that seemed to show he was in but at best was not clear and indisputable. The interception that seemed close to not being one too. And the time out by Zac Taylor that negated another touchdown. I'd have to see it again but first time watching it didn't seem like he got to the ref to call it before the ball was hiked. Ref started blowing his whistle after the ball was hiked. Add in every ball bounce going the other teams way once again.

Just fucking frustrating game on so many levels. I haven't been that pissed off watching a half of football in a long time.

Reasons we lost.
Bad red zone execution.
Bad play calling by McVay
Didn't try to establish a ground game at all. Mostly just Williams running from the gun.
Didn't use Rivers. Why?
Stafford wasn't accurate and made bad decisions.
O Line got banged up.

That Atwell play happened in the first quarter and we had the ball at the 3 with a first down. Good teams shrug off the bad call and just punch it in and score anyway. Not running the ball there is just plain stupid.

The decision to overturn the Tutu TD and let the Wilson INT stand had me as angry as I've been at a football game in a good while. Completely inconsistent calls. The evidence of the Wilson INT hitting the ground without him having possession was far stronger than the evidence that Tutu's heel touched out of bounds. Overturning that play was literally the difference between the Rams winning and losing.

McVay is a play design guru. He is a great head coach with a major flaw. He is not a game manager. He DOES NOT need to be play calling in a game. His OC needs the reigns during games. Is he too hard headed and too much of a control freak to change? I fear his genius is getting in the way of common sense. And it’s frustrating as hell to watch. With that said, GO RAMS! Beat the Colts!

Another baffling item: McVay’s game plan got us the W in Seattle and kept us competitive with the whiners. Pundits said the Rams will always be competitive as long as we have McVay.

Than this absolute turd of a dud. Getting Stafford killed because we have linemen injured and absolute ignorance to run the ball. Just maddening.

Staff does make the calls quite a bit.. thats whats partially amusing about all of this.

It's basic football... the QB has a run play and a pass play he can use... he reads the defense and checks to one or the other.
