he basically said the Bengal's didnt do anything they didnt expect... that there were too many mistakes and failed moments of execution.
....my only mistake, was watching this wreck.

2 snaps for Hopkins
The blatant disregard for TE in this offense is mind boggling to me. 4th year with the team and he can only get 2 snaps?
No support for the o-line, Kyren's best ability is pass pro, and he's out in the flat getting balls thrown over his head. Higbee is running intermediate routes, no inline TE helping the o-line, nobody chipping the DE who is eating the LT's lunch
I dont know how this is possible in today's NFL that a roster can be designed so poorly
What you are describing is what we all saw, but these are coaching decisions.

These are things that Rams players also see from the field or from the sidelines. Seeing their quarterback getting repeatedly pummelled series after series from the blindside, with the backup left tackle getting no help.

Nobody chipping the defensive end going who is manhandling our backup left tackle, the running back unbelievably always stationed on the other side in presnap shotgun formation.

No bootlegs away from blindside pressure and no runs to keep the defence honest. No assistant apparently suggesting to the oblivious head coach that something had to be done to fix this.

McVay's got to be careful, these are the types of decisions that make players lose respect for the head coach, their leader, the general.

Last night's coaching job was embarrassingly bad, unacceptable and one for which McVay owes an apology to his players.

These types of in-game mistakes have happened too often. It's time that McVay gives up play calling and spends time overseeing the entire team.

One positive I have from this game personally.... You know we honestly could never run the ball enough for me.lol. I like running the ball. Particularly in the redzone. I like us having more than one running back who gets carries in a game....pounding the ball. One of my all-time favorite games since we've been back is the playoff game at the Coliseum vs. the Cowboys....Gurley and CJ pounding the the Cowboys... it was beautiful.

So I want us to run the ball....

and usually I'm in a minority on blaming a loss on us not running the ball enough.

But it seems like now.....finally.... this is an issue that MOST people are talking about after a loss. I don't feel alone in complaining about us not running the ball enough in a particular game....and assigning that as the primary reason we lost.

I've always given McVay the benefit of the doubt because as much as people label him a genius play caller....he's really only been calling plays in the NFL since he became our Head Coach....his youth lets me give him the benefit of learning from his mistakes.... But he should be beyond this type of game now. ....his coaching staff should be in a place to re-direct him ..during a game...back to a more balanced attack.... I mean we were playing the 2nd to worst run defense in the league....we ran the ball well early..and he still abandoned the run.
He needs to do better. We've got a good team.

For a coach who supposedly likes to keep the defense off balance, we sure do run an awful lot of empty sets. Why let the defense know your passing when you don’t have Kupp? It feels very arrogant and is hard on Quarterbacks and RB’s. Martz got Warner hurt and he ruined Bulger….if Sean wants to keep Stafford healthy, he better make teams respect our running game, otherwise play action is not affective.

Maybe mcvay has a different goal.
Maybe like his buddy rat face last year with lance, he was trying to get his qb hurt. Maybe he wants Caleb and thought this was his oportunity.
I dont think that, but during the game my imagination brought it up. I mean, he did nothing to help against the pass rush. Tell me nobody else flashed on this.
Nobody with a brain.
Fucking ridiculous dude.
