Andrews makes more sense than Hockenson. He will be cheaper. And he also undoubtedly will be hellbent to prove that drop in the playoffs doesn't define him.
I do. One of the Cardinals' best pitching prospects has the last name of "Hence".We don't use the word "Hence" on this Forum.
Maybe Andrews is cheaper because he's older. But Andrews is also a free agent after this year, and Hockenson's got a big contract, which could take away from his price.Andrews makes more sense than Hockenson. He will be cheaper. He didn't use it correctly since he didn't put a comma after it, so the mods should probably only keep one eye on him, not two.We don't use the word "Hence" on this Forum.
The moderators have been properly informed; and you are currently under scrutiny.

Tyson is legit. But we're so good at finding WRs outside the first round. There are some guys in this class who would mesh well with our scheme.Hey, everyone's got a favorite player in this class (like me with Cayden Green, @jrry32 with LaNorris Sellers, you with Jordyn Tyson - who does look really good, to your credit, etc.). I wouldn't mind if Tyson was one of our firsts.
We're not giving up Ferguson for him. I wouldn't give up a 3rd either. Please don't give up Ferguson or Allen for this guy. Parkinson and a third is about all I'd pay for Hockenson, and even that's iffy.
I think McVay is still in search of that X WR, speed, explosive guy since they're not committeded to Adams long-term. We're not good at finding that. They can find the Kupp / Nacua types outside the first round, but will likely need a high pick if they want the other type as a complement.Tyson is legit. But we're so good at finding WRs outside the first round. There are some guys in this class who would mesh well with our scheme.
I could be wrong on their value. However I will say this... Andrews steps into the TE1 role immediately. He upgrades us over Higs the moment the deal is done. Hockenson slides in behind Higs, and gives us more of what we have.Maybe Andrews is cheaper because he's older. Honestly, I'd look really hard at Nic Anderson (Louisiana State). Other later round receivers who look interesting are Jalen Walthall (Incarnate Word), Max Tomzcak (Youngstown State), and Ian Strong (Rutgers) from what little I can see.Tyson is legit. Rams were rumored as a team that is interested in him (along with the Broncos) in one of the posts above.Who would trade for Hockenson? He’s hurt all the time and isn’t producing anymore when he plays.
Oh and he’s getting 34 mill for ‘26/‘27 seasons
Personally, I'd be more interested in Njoku than Hockenson. But I think you're selling Hockenson a bit short. He was much better than Higbee in the past. Don't know how he is after the injury.I could be wrong on their value. However I will say this... Andrews steps into the TE1 role immediately. He upgrades us over Higs the moment the deal is done. If they trade for Hockenson it will be a mistake. He costs draft value and still leaves us where we currently are at the position. Only benefit down the road is Higs leaves and is replaced by Hockenson. However Hockenson is not that good, so we're still hoping Fergs emerges.
Andrews is the piece for this offense. The best combination of potential upgrade while also not being too costly.
Me either.I think we are sitting tight myself, maybe an unexpected depth move. I don't see a big splash
I know, I saw it. Which is why I asked. It makes literally zero sense the Rams would be interested, or any team for that matterRams were rumored as a team that is interested in him (along with the Broncos) in one of the posts above.
Ohh! I like Crosby lolHockenson!?!?
6 months after using their top-pick on a receiving TE ... with two other TEs the 6th and 8th highest cap hits on the Team ... and we're talking about Hockenson!?!?
This makes less sense to me than the Jeffrey Simmons discussion a couple weeks ago.
Who's next ... Maxx Crosby!
Well. Maybe not as he's played in the slot the past couple seasons.Roger McCreary probably makes the most sense.
Should be worth a comp pick if unsigned after the season.
