I know a lot of people are against this trade due to his character but if Snead and McVay are adamant about going after this guy

How about Akers and a Sixth
I'm get an edge guy but I want to win lol for that Id do it without even blinking if his character cks out and let's face it I believe people can change and if that deadbeat Watson can play Christ hunt seems like an angel.

I'm with that one there! Hunt would have our RB room looking much better. Have him backed up by Hendo and then sprinke in Williams as well for a bit or two.

I'm not expecting an announcement until Monday or Tuesday, although I do feel an addition will be forthcoming. As mentioned in a previous post, this coming Sunday's games could easily change the outlook for a few GM's on both personnel, their value and how one more loss may put them out of any realistic contention. Waiting until right after week 8 to sign another player also reduces our salary CAP obligation to that player somewhat, by one week out of 18. If I'm disappointed, it's only that we couldn't load up against those damn 49'ers. jmo.

And that's the difference between you and I - I do not think the Rams pass rush is as bad as people say it is. When the passer is getting the ball out 2.5 seconds or less, it is almost impossible to sack the QB.

I saw one play recently where Donald had a completely unblocked free path to the QB and he could not get to the QB in time to sack him because we were playing so far off that the QB was able to throw in the direction of the receiver and

1) not worry about an interception
2) not get called for grounding

If we played aggressive on that play, we would have had an extremely high chance of one of four things happening

1) Sack
2) Fumble
3) Interception
4) Grounding

And I really need to stop posting in this thread - sorry all but I felt I needed to respond to Kupp and Payote - no more responses
I am way a head of you.

RB is the position where talent is attainable in all rounds. The problem is finding it. I trust the Ram's scouting dept to do so. I think with Williams coming on board they will wait and focus on edge. The problem in the run game is the poor OL. McVay must begin to play Carter at FB who will go a long way in helping that. It will allow them to play power with a legit FB. That will enhance play action.

With Carter designated as a TE they can play with a two TE set and go back to their outside zone. Again it will enhance play action. Until McVay makes changes to his run attack play design play action isn't being honored. Play design and personnel usage is the key to improving the run game. Sean must do something to help the OL or it won't matter who the RB is.

If the Rams stand pat and make no moves then they are writing off the year and will reload next year. I don't know how they don't make a move tho with all the guys available. Just my opinion
Do we really think McSnead is gonna write off this year??? Especially with the NFC West up for grabs.

Dude you’ve got to do something about your obsessive compulsive thought process. It ain’t healthy but more importantly it’s annoying as shite!!
I thought we didn’t insult/attack our own team on here?

Maybe a 5th and 6th

I don't follow Kareen Hunt. I just know about the incident in that video a few years ago. Has he has any issues since then? If not is that incident enough for fans to be against trading for him?

The Rams are 31st in rushing yards per game. 28th in points per game. That is Fisher-esque. I gotta think a big reason for the scoring drop is because we can't run the ball. Of course we're also 25th in passing yards per game. Would an improve run game move them up in the passing stats? We know our running backs are pretty much mediocre at best. How much of an upgrade would Hunt be? And how well would he do running behind our line?

Maybe we should trade Morris and sign a DC with balls.
