Not sure how moving Cooks helps the Texans as they take a huge dead cap hit for this yr and they don't have the space to take that hit. I guess it can be spread into next season, but again doesn't help much other than speeding up the time frame of taking a big cap hit.

Well he's had 10 sacks each of the last 2 seasons. 0 sacks after 6 games is what people are pointing out imo.

I'm so glad the eagles went for Quinn....now they out of the way. Denver won't trade with the chiefs this gives us a little more bargaining ability.

I can't believe the burns thing is even still a slim possibility.

Not sure I understand cooks but I trust them. I get stretching the field but tutu can do that and actually still under the radar. Stafford having to develop chemistry with yet another reciever is scary when it still hasn't happened with ARob just yet.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if we hit on the high picks we still had. The Tutu selection was catastrophic and gets compound if we trade more picks away for Cooks. Terrell Lewis, Cam Akers, Taylor Rapp, Gerald Everett. I mean we've really whiffed on a lot of our 2nd and 3rd rounders where we could've found pro bowlers.

People's perspective changes when you hit on a lot of 4th-7th rounders and they end up being solid. But the talent level found in rounds 2 and 3 is different and we've drafted bad up there.

Depends on if the person your trading for is a foundational piece. Like Jalen. If anyone on here had the time to go BK and check aal the picks the Rams gave up who was actually great and who was garbage. I'd guarantee 85-90% subpar to garbage.
I'm cool with drafting but I will always go with the proven commodity if he is foundational.

It also depends on timing for us that time is now Stafford Kupp Ramsey AD Will only decline.

This is a great statement. Our front office is dynamite but this is accurate. I do believe Akers will be fine elsewhere but I agree had we even gotten one mega star there people would care even less about the eff them picks formula. Can't disagree with you on that at all.

Yeah Quinn scared me. Just the question of what Quinn would we get. Glad he's off the table because we need wins here with whatever moves are made.

The Rams need a RB for sure. How many of those listed would be big enough upgrades that can really make a difference? I see one in Jacobs and he’s not likely to be available.

Maybe the Tams can get permission to play with 2 balls on offense, because I don’t see how they give all of these offensive skill positions touches, much less snaps.
If ARob is finally clicking, then how many snaps would be left for OBJ if he was signed?

That could be the case. If they do lack faith in Van’s health then a deep treat makes sense. But supposedly a short receiver is not a good fit with Stafford. Plus that would be fewer snaps for someone.

I guess if they feel that they cannot meet OBJ’s asking price then maybe it makes more sense. It just seems like way too many resources devoted to one position group.

Some GMs supposedly think that Snead is afraid of failure and that is why he trades back so often.
Missing on later picks is excusable but hitting on a few is genius.

You are right though. The second and third round picks have not been good enough. Sometimes I think they try to be too smart and over complicate things with the evaluations. Some teams can sit pat and let BPA fall into their laps, like Bobby Wagner would have for Snead, or like Deandre Hopkins would have for Snead.

What more evidence do you need to see? We’ve literally already thrown in the towel and admitted he’s a bust. The fact that we’re even involved in trade discussions for a WR is laughable. Kupp, ARob, Van, Skow, Tutu, Powell should be more than enough even with no OBJ.

I see all of them as significant upgrades. Jacobs will probably cost too much, since Vegas is holding on and dependent on him. But I'd love to have him. None are game changers but they would all give us a stable backfield threat to keep us on track early downs when we're floundering.

It shows the sad state of this backfield. Look at what Michel felt like last year and he is not special in any way. He's just really tough and smart. I think all those names are better runners than Michel. Though he is definitely as good as it gets in pass pro.
