Hopefully all is revealed soon but the only thing I'm thinking of with wanting cooks is since we have to get the ball out quickly and while ARob coming on it's not conducive to this offense to not get separation rt now and I realize thats not his game but how we are set up maybe quick slants and then chunks with cooks to get the ball out fast then have a fast dude get chunk of yardage. I'm possibly over thinking but otherwise it makes no sense.

ARob played well 1st half then went back to coop show offense was that because the niners took him away or Mcvay went away from it?????

Confused

Meh. Seems fair for both. Ilb who is about to command top dollar. Getting a second for him is good value.

Yea but he is special not a bad trade but the type of player it's a player who can be even better yet. I agree though

Smith is playing like a top 3 LB this year. I think the compensation is fair. In fact, if he wasn't needing a new contract at end of year, I think a 1st would have been required.

Roquan is a great off ball LB…one of the leagues best no doubt….but if I’m the Ravens I’m trying to find a way to get Lamar more help.

The fact we're looking for receivers when we have more basic problems is crazy to me. Pissing away a futures pick for a JAG like Cooks is fucking stupid. He will not move the needle for us when the issue is protections. Only way he makes sense is if it's a one-for-one where we give them Tutu for him. Because Tutu looks like a bust at this point. No reason to think otherwise.

We are unlikely to be able to win a bid on a good OL if one comes available before this window. Same with Edge. We don't have the pieces for that.

So what to do. The goal should be what do we need to not be embarrassed the rest of the schedule. What can we trade for that is affordable and helps us. The answer is obvious. RB. Just don't give up too much because this offseason is going to be a mini-rebuild.
With all due respect guy he's had 1k every year except 2. Imo that's not a JAG.

Ravens with a damn good deal. Why does it always seem like we're the ones who get fleeced?

And he's a deep threat who has a career 65% catch rate. Very productive guy. That said, with 18+ mill guaranteed for 2023, there's just no way.......

The Rams don't have much draft capital to work with to get an impact player.

Maybe they should set up for next year. Getting one big puzzle piece traded for and signed would be a start.

Laremy Tunsil
Chubb the pass rusher

Then make smaller moves to contend for the playoffs this year.

Needs
RB
OL
Maybe WR
TE

I'm not sold on going all in this year.

From SI. Sorry I don't have a link.

Said McVay: "We are always looking for ways to upgrade the football team, but we [have] a lot of things that we [have to] be able to address and what that means looking forward, getting into the trade deadline or as we progress, we'll be looking at that over the next couple days.”

I applaud this FO for being aggressive. Even more so, realizing when they make a mistake or something isn’t working and they don’t stay with it due to being stubborn- they can move off their mistakes. That’s a huge positive. Both of those points.

But the problem is they continue to make the initial mistakes. Like it’s cool they addressed the QB problem and got Stafford. But the problem was why did they pay goff that huge extension just 1.5 years before? Why sign Austin to that big contract? Why the rush to extend Gurley? Why restructure woods and then dump his contract and sign a different high price WR that’s not (so far) fitting? Why draft tutu if he’s not a fit and who won’t play him when you could have drafted an Ol or edge and solved that problem?

Again, the FO is great. We won a SB. Scoreboard forever. But they sure have a habit of digging a hole and jumping in it - before fixing the problem (and paying a lot to do so). How about the avoid the initial error instead of waiting to react.

That was his presser yesterday after the loss. He looked odd. I felt bad cause he took his medicine again but he had a despondent look eyes like not blinking almost like a psychopath with jokers smile. Just looked crazed. I do understand why but still
