I can't remember the last time we beat these clowns...I did see that we're 2-12 all time...I think Monday it starts with shutting down Achane and Mostert, and get after Tua...

Dolphins are better than 2 wins. This will be a very tough win for the Rams. They balled out against the Bills and the bills held on to win. But the Dolphins are much better than their record indicates. Two things we'll have to prepare for. Screens and the deep ball, both of which we have struggled with.

One of the very few teams Mcvay doesn't have under his belt yet. Along with the bills and jets.

Miami runs the ball a lot - and when they aren't running it, they are running screen passes to the backs and tight ends.

Then every now and then, Hill burns you deep.

Tua hasn't looked like himself at all.

I'm hoping that at 2-6, these guys are out there making business decisions for themselves and packing it in for the offseason.

If they are playing their best ball, they are a tough matchup

I hope they are indeed ready to just pack it in -- because these guys could be a severe test.
Achane and Mostert? Hill & Waddle? We're gonna need to get in the backfield a LOT in order to shut this down.
Oh & then there's #5, who may want to make a "remember me??" statement in SoFi.

I don’t think the Dolphins have a very good Oline. If the pass rush gets home it could get into Tua’s head. I’m not hoping for an injury, just the threat of one to throw him off his game.

Miami has more offensive firepower than Seattle.

Rams need to stop the run as goal #1.

On offense they’re a tough matchup but on defense their pass rush is terrible with Phillips out. Hope we can take advantage of that during the game.

defensively they are not strong... offensively we don't match up well coverage wise - however our dline vs their o-line we have the advantage.

If we get pressure we will have a good chance.. if not we going to have to score 30.

Pressure or not, they will dink and dunk all day with those screens and short crosses, relying on the YAC. When you get caught cheating too much, they have top end speed at WR. This is a bad matchup for our young defense.

The offense will have to win this one by scoring early and often, making the fish predictable. The Rams need a breakout 30 point plus game.

Of course, another 7 sacks would help immensely.

This is a tough draw for sure. Miami not only runs it well but they're explosive over the top too. So it's a stout test for a defense that has been playing well. We're gonna need that defensive front to ball out big time, and our offense can't sleepwalk their way through 3/4 of the game. Need to see that version of Stafford with that look in his eye right from the beginning. Treat this as a playoff game, one game at a time from here on out at least until we wrap up a seed of some kind.

Miami offense has weapons. I’m going to say if Rams score 28+ they win. If they score less than 24 they lose. Toss up 24-27. And please put Tua on his ass if they get a hold of him.

SECONDARY HAS TO PLAY WELL!!!

Tua is back in at QB...he went 25 of 28 for 231 against the Bills. Even at 2-6 the Dophins are dangerous in the pass game and gave the Bills all they wanted.

The Rams offense has to control this game. IMHO, McVay has to call a balanced attack with Willams get plenty of touches. Against Seattle he finally called plays running Williams wide and Stafford rolled out more than he has in all games before that. He needs that Monday night!!!

Without looking, 1976 and 2001 were the wins. I have one partial on DvD ('76) and the other a 1st gen recording by me on VHS that got lost/kept by the guy that was going to convert it. Quarterback with the dumbo ears for Miami... post Marino, never did anything.

Last 2 games we lost to them were like 9-6 in 2016 and the pretty bad one that we lost up there under McVay in 2020. I would like to see him get his 1st win over Miami before he retires. Plus we just need to beat them already they ain't good and it's been too long.

Remember Tua,s debut ?
First game as a pro, and he killed us.
Do not take them lightly.
Actually - Tua had very pedestrian stats. However he did have a short TD pass.

He was 12 22 for 93 yards and 1 TD.

Other than that, almost all of their points were off interception returns and a punt return TD

flores killed the rams.

because goff didn't do his homework. so many unblocked rushers in that game that he didn't take account of and he paid the price.

mcvay turned in that game. that was the end for goff because he wasn't taking it seriously enough for mcvay.
