DJ is my favorite media evaluator. Though I disagree with that list right at the top as Carter edges out Hunter in my book. :laugh2:

I find myself wondering what the Rams do if McMillan is on the board at 26. And I think it is possible given rumblings with him as well as the fact only Green Bay showed up to his pro day. He is not what we need specifically, but supersized possession options have a value all their own.

Only two players I do not want the Rams to draft are QB Sanders and the edge Stewart.

I like very much seeing S Starks and OT Banks on his board in our neighborhood. :thumbsup1:
Carolina is reported by their local media to really like McMillan and it's a coin toss with him and Walker.

Betting odds and the general rumor mill seem to have the top 4 picks locked in possibly top 6.

Cam Ward
Travis Hunter
Abdul Carter
Will Campbell

Then there are questions but Mason Graham is the heavy favorite.
Aston Jeanty seems set at 6 and Warren at 7 but either of those can switch to an OT.
There are rumblings about Campbell not being the pick at 4. Honestly, I think I'd err on the side of elite athleticism in Membu if I was set on taking a OT at 4. That said, I'd try my hardest to trade down if I was going that route and take whichever falls. To me, Campbell isn't the 4th best player and may not be a top 10.

I'm a bit puzzled by the reported love Walker gets. He's a tweener that doesn't have the power to push the pocket on a down to down basis. He's also not a high end run stopper. Outside of good athletic scores, I don't see him above guys like Mykel, Green, Pearce, or even Stewart who is more athletic and suited for edge then Walker IMO.

Now, I really like Walker as an off ball LB, but that is not likely what he will get drafted as.

McShay discussed this on his last youtube video. They are kind of stuck there. Campbell would be the 5th best OT in last years draft? Yet here they are stuck taking him at 4 overall? So do they take BPA or draft a position of dire need at OT and get a potential really solid player, but not elite?

So what are they going to do at LT for their 2nd year QB if they don't take one there?

Surely they can get some kind of an offer for pick 4 and move back a bit. Grab one of the OT's a bit later. At least that is what I'd try like hell to do.

Possibly but there's a lot of talk that teams want to trade back not up. But you have a LT right there and you have a desperate need for a LT. Fans opinions be damned if you as a team think Campbell or any of the other LT can be a LT you take them. Even if next year you can get a better LT and you move Campbell to Guard you take him. You aren't going to get anywhere if you can't protect your franchise QB.

I really like Oliver Connelly. He’s very detailed in his player breakdowns.

Some think Jalon Walker should be a late round pick. He only fits some teams defenses. He particularly fits well with a defense that blitzes their inside linebackers a lot. He reminds me of a more athletic Ernest Jones. Jihad is definitely a tweener.

If a team wants a run stuffer Knight is a better option on day 2.

McShay saw a teams board... count me as incredulous
Why? We know teams including the Rams have shared the info with some media especially Peter Schrager. We know that Cowherd was in the Chargers draft room the two years prior to Harbaugh. We know that Jeremiah has a similar relationship with the Chargers. I get not liking the guy but we know certain media are with given access with certain teams. This isn't new.

I don't believe a team would show him the final board. Not an indictment on him. If they did, pretty stupid. I think having guys embedded on draft day is a different story and there's not a runway like this for stuff to eeeek out. If I had to put money on it, at most I think he saw a board that wasn't finalized and even then...

It's bad business. Don't do bad business. Do good business. But also, Jerry Jones showed us his board so what the hell do I know (on draft day that is).

Chicago is allegedly all over Jeanty. Now if they aren’t too greedy I could see them swapping with the bears for a reasonable cost

Up to you but we know these guys have been in the room with the board many many times. We know this guy has a lot of contacts and he hasn't ever leaked anything before to burn those bridges. I don't think it's far fetched at all to believe he's seen boards but it's your call what to believe.
