I’m sticking with my original assessment. There WILL be better players available at R1.26. If Rams trade down for high R2 and low R3 picks perhaps Burden would be in play for the high R2 pick.
I would love that. I usually do that in mock drafts. Even though I get mad when I miss out on him lol. But even still I like jaylin Noel as a consolation.

I'm lobbying for a true bell cow RB
In that case, I would say we have far bigger weaknesses in the starting lineup than Kyren Williams. If we are serious about challenging for the Super Bowl this season, those holes need to be addressed first.

That sounds good, but those teams might worry about the Rams grabbing him and trade to get up to an earlier position.
Really don't see him getting past the Steelers tbh so might be a mute point, but it'll be very interesting to see how this plays itself out in a few days.

Betting odds and the general rumor mill seem to have the top 4 picks locked in possibly top 6.

Cam Ward
Travis Hunter
Abdul Carter
Will Campbell

Then there are questions but Mason Graham is the heavy favorite.
Aston Jeanty seems set at 6 and Warren at 7 but either of those can switch to an OT.

What exact holes are you referring to? Of course we can upgrade numerous spots, but what upgrade could impact the game more than a stud RB? A second TE, a 4th WR, a backup/swing T, CB? What position do you feel will directly impact the number of wins and losses next season. We could start the season today without a draft and still be considered one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the NFC. Did you bother to read the stats I provided by Kyren and his comparisons? Outside of Qb, nobody touches the ball more than your RB, we should all be on board with upgrading the position like the Eagles did, worked out pretty well for them.

There are rumours that Carolina are taking Jalon Walker if he reaches number eight.

I could see them add ehever they think is the best playmaker regardless of position. McMillan is as likely to give their young QB a chance.

One of the worst practice players you’ve ever seen
This also stood out to me. From my perspective while playing team sports, practice is where you form the team and players challenge each other. It’s where you learn what to expect from each other so that you don’t have to think about it in games. Hearing that a player doesn’t take practice seriously or want to test themselves and other players would be a huge no for me if true.
