I’m going to be stubborn on the Rams had better be coming out of the gate looking good on offense and scoring points this year.

How about we get a season where we aren’t hearing McVay preach about “overcoming adversity” every week. It’s okay to stumble occasionally but I mean…

Go out there, be ready and fuck the bad teams up.

Be in position to compete for the #1 seed
Like they did against the Bears in 2021. That was a fun game.

A few numbers changes after the cuts.

I didn’t want anyone to freak out when they think they saw Kendrick’s wearing number 1 out there.

Amen. The Rams "vaunted McVay offense" has been pedestrian for years. And yes, I get that there have been injuries.... It's football. All teams have injuries.

The scheme is what worries me. Gurley was the main ingredient in the last formidable Rams offense, and he's not coming back. Maybe Adams can be a spark? Maybe a better TE Corp?? This will be a telling season for sure!! GO RAMS!!

McVay's offense changed NFL defenses. He forced change. Teams had to change how the played defense to combat his schemes. It was revolutionary. Teams copied his concepts on offense.

That's great, but it doesn't change the fact that this offense has been inconsistent since the second half of his second season as our coach. I love the guy, and hope he coaches here until he's 60, I would just love to see more points from one of the leagues most expensive offenses (4th this season, 2nd last season in case anyone was wondering ). That's all.

One week to go. Looks like Stafford will be good to go. Will AJ be starting at left tackle? That could be huge. Humphries might be able to hold down the fort. But he does have some injuries in his history. Protecting Stafford's blind side is critical this game. Houston has a pair of good edge rushers.

Just NEVER understood the HYPE!!
IMO a lot of BS,but then again the concern.

It wasn’t that HARD(the joke)to figure out though.Alaric all a long was on pace to start & be ready for 2025.

Some seem to forget ALL about 2024 & what was up with Alaric then. The CB situation as well.

The Rams never really had a chance of winning early. How The Rams beat the niners at SOFI was sort of remarkable game 3.

Alaric came back to start game 3 & Logan Brusss was the starting LG next to a rookie Center in Limmer.
Jordan Whittington 3-3 28
Tutu 4-5 98
Parkisian 3-5 21
Kyren 2-2 27 & a TD

Defense Troy Reeder was starting at 97% of the snaps.Colbie Durant was back starting with T.White at CB. Durant almost sealed the Detroit Lions game to start the season, but dropped the ball when he hit the turf & hurt himself. The ball ground caused the drop as he came straight down from about 6 feet in the air head & ball first.

Call me crazy, but there was NEVER all that much concern of The Rams being healthy coming into 2025.
Mcvay learned a lot against the Texans last season to end the preseason not 100%,plus the players who were part of 2023 run & were brought back 2025 again in Shelton & Ahkello.(Higbee).

Having Adams starting & all The depth will be huge.Adding Poona vs Bobby Brown, plus all the 2nd year players.

By the way Troy Reeder is a backup with 2 new starters.I guess some Ram Fans want keep looking at the NEGATIVES & not the positives.

OTA’s were run right, and having Alaric Jackson flying to Hawaii instead of home to be able to play Game 1 would’ve been selfishness.

Emotionally going into 2024 vs 2025 for Stafford is a lot better going in.That contract he signed before training camp.Learning different Centers & having to call The Plays for the O”Line takes away seconds PRESNAP!!!!

It’s easy to forget the little things that’s important. The Rams QB room as a whole is SO much better.

If Stafford isn’t ready & Alaric misses a block. At least Game 1 Jimmy G will be ready to go as well as Stetson.Jimmy G missed 2 games with Alaric Jackson in 2024.

We need a Rams win, and I'm hoping the sea pigeons knock off the whiners. Would like to see Cooper Kupp go off against the whiners.

The Hags are going to be Tough & physical upfront on O”.
The whiners stacked there D”Line SO will be interesting to see how they compare against each other.

Sure Glad in the 2024 Draft Mcvay didn’t get his way & Les Snead sort of mocked him, only to draft Jared Verse. That DT from Texas should make an impact against the whiners run game though??

I'm thinking the 85 Bears.

They traded Tunsil partially because their rookie O-lineman, Aireontae Ersery, looked good.

It looks really vulnerable otherwise, though.
He wasn't traded because the rookie looked good. He was traded prior to the draft. Cam Robinson was signed to replace Tunsil and they are actively trying to trade him because of the rookies progress in camp.

Like you mentioned he had Gurley. It’s tough to be successful with one top weapon. In 2021 he had Kupp and then traded for Odell. By the time he got Puka, Kupp was already on the decline. They didn’t have first round picks for a few years, so they had to do more with less. They didn’t have the luxury of multiple first round picks like the Lions had to stack the weapons. I think you need to keep in it perspective.

Ersery is going to have his hands full all game. Couldn't ask for a better matchup in game 1 then a rookie playing his first downs protecting Strouds blindside.
They are probably going to double team Verse all day with a tight end.

We were one play away from hosting the NFC championship game last year after starting 1-4 (easily could have been 0-5).

I'm confident this team will pick up where it left off:
......A MCVAY TEAM NOBODY WANTS TO FUCKING PLAY.

I'm certain that I'M READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!

This could be nothing or a trend, but here's the Rams' first half scoring in season openers under McVay:

2017 - 27 points vs. Colts
2018 - 10 points vs. Raiders
2019 - 13 points at Panthers
2020 - 13 points vs. Cowboys
2021 - 13 points vs. Bears
2022 - 10 points vs. Bills
2023 - 7 points at Hawks
2024 - 3 points at Lions

Overdue for a 35 point first half, right?

Did AJackson get enough reps? Can Shelton hold up the pocket, run block and get to the next level? Somehow it doesnt make sense to me starting Shelton if the plan is to run the ball. no way Shelton is better at run blocking than Limmer.

Yes, I have no confidence in Shelton in either. Maybe he can call line plays from the bench?
