Puzo's book is a fantastic read, and I recommend it to anyone who watched The Godfather, even if some things were different.
Did you ever read "The Fourth K" by Puzo?
Cant be made in to a movie for obvious reasons (Fictional 4th Kennedy) but the story is WILD

Sounds like the video game is fun but not 100% faithful to the Novel or Film.

Actually, it is very faithful to the film and characters (except Michael looks totally different because Pacino sold his likeness to the Scarface game first). It's just that your character (whom you get to create) gets to participate in literally every major thing that happens in the movies, some that are merely implied (like whacking Bruno Tattaglia), and some for the game alone.

You can - and are absolutely expected to - extort businesses (both fronts and rackets, where you can either rough them up or - what I prefer to do - wait until you have enough respect and just get talk to them to get them to pay you because they fucking like you so much.), do hits on rival Families, take out Sollozzo's drug rackets, do favors for various people (the latter two, plus extra hits, are only on the 360/PS3/Nintendo gaming system; I forget if it's the GameCube or Wii), execute mobsters in different ways (and doing every execution - with the Nintendo system having a couple of others like electrocutions, drowning, and car bombs - gets you a lot of money and respect, the latter of which levels you up), and eventually take out every Family to make the Corleones the top dog. Or, if you're just bored, you can kill cops and civilians - all of whom have randomly generated names.

Oh, and you can purchase new clothes for your mobster to wear with the money you earn.

Very fun game with actually decent graphics for its time.

I haven't, but you can bet that I'll put it on the list. If I know Puzo, the story has to be fucking wild.

Anything, anything back related for an older player is always very concerning. Just shocked people are dismissing this.

Worrying about something I can't control is just not something I do. To each their own though.

Once again if this was just Stafford's back I wouldn't be quite as concerned. Ride Jimmy for a month or so to buy 9 time. But the LT situation is potentially a player who got hurt in the first game last year, or random dude from our depth chart, which, when piled on top of the back situation creates potential for a shit storm.

I think at this point the Rams need to just get Jimmy ready to go (which they're probably doing in-house). Let Matt sit the first week or two and make sure that back is recovered before he goes out there. And hope that will be enough time.
