Rams offense is 8th in rushing yards, Shecocks are 22nd. 4.7 yards per carry to 3.9. And our rushing attack has only gotten better as the season has progressed.

I really don't think the rain will be a real factor and the wind at 10-20 mph shouldn't be that big of a deal and if anything, should affect Darnold far more than Stafford.

HATE that it will be a rainy, windy game. Stafford struggles in weather or at least has. I feel a big Kyren game in this one.

I think we win this one. I don't think their offense is good enough to keep up. We just need to overcome the loss of 17. I think our TEs feast in this game.

I agree, I'd like to see a lot of 12 and 13 personnel but spread them out wide and use their height advantages against Seashittle. We have big TE's and McVay has done a great job using them this season but this is the game that they all need to step up and use their size advantage against smaller DBs and LBs. Since Adams will be out this game, they will double Puka or roll coverage his way so we have to make them pay for that, and the only way we do that is if other guys get open or have obvious mismatches.

I'm not worried about Defense in this one, we know them well and Darnold will Darnold.

I've never heard of MS13 in my life. But MS9 is so obvious on a RAMS message board.

Get over yourself.

.
Well, I've definitely heard of MS13.
Never crossed my mind to conflate that with MS9 though. I'm simply not on the same wavelength with this one, I suppose.
Let's just get back to Rams football talk on this site, ehhhh ?

Even without Adams the Rams are the better team. I always look at McVay's face before the games. Against Seattle at SOFI, when I looked at him on the sideline I said "he looks a little worried about this one". Well sure enough McVay was not as aggressive that game. I think his concern was how well the Seahags were defensively. Yet and still, the Rams won. On Thursday, I'm gonna do the same thing...LOOK AT McVAY'S FACE!!! It's in the Seahags house AND WE KNOW THEY'LL BE LOUD!!!

Monday, I didn't have a good feel for the game. Today, my feel is this game will not be as close as the SOFI win. I'm feeling:

Rams 30 Seahags 20

Sounds Good.

The Rams are 9th best in the NFL in rushing-yards per-game (101); holding opponents to 3.9 yards-per-rush.

Seattle is the 3rd best (92); holding opponents to 3.8.

I am not disagreeing. I just think the Seahawks are really good. The Rams won a few weeks ago because Myers missed a 61-yard-FGA. The same guy that made a 57-yard-FG earlier in the game that would have been good from 65 yards. The same guy that kicked Six FGs two days ago, including two from 50-yards-Plus.

Seattle out-gained the Rams by 165 yards, and had 26 1st downs to the Rams 12. Stafford had his lowest yardage and completion percentage for the season. The Rams Plus-3 Turnover-Differential was the key.

All I am saying is the Rams are REALLY GOOD ... and ... Seattle is ALMOST AS GOOD.
Seahawk lover!

Yes, people don't talk enough about how Devante - while his yards per game aren't crazy - keeps teams from rolling coverage Puka's way or doubling him as much. Expect teams to do that almost exclusively until we can make them pay... also expect teams that can play man to throw a ton at us till Adams is back (though Puka has done even better against man this year than in years past!).

The Rams won a few weeks ago because they harassed Darnold into 4 picks. The 61 yard FGA was a prayer, a hail mary kick. That mantra about they were lining up for the GWFG reminds me so much of the Titans being 1 yard short of a SB win. It just ain't so.

I don't expect 4 picks this time around. In fact I don't expect ANY picks. I expect Darnold to make sure he doesn't throw any and as a result gets sacked 5 or 6 times, perhaps putting the ball on the ground a time or two.

I agree, Seattle is good. I just think the Rams are better and I don't think it's particularly close.

I remember when Puka was out and it forced Stafford to use other receivers. Three TEs caught a TD that day, IIRC. So did Mumpfield.
We have been seeing more throws to TEs since and Stafford has been on a heater with one hiccup.

They’re gonna double Nacua every time they smell pass. It will be McVay’s job to:
A) use that our advantage when looking at another WR.
B) scheme Nacua open with some deception. This will/ SHOULD be the way to approach the rest of the year because any DC who goes into a game vs the Rams who doesn’t have a plan (whether it works or not) to stop #12 from ruining his day…should be fired.

12 Receivers/ Receptions / TDs

6 WRs 200 / 22
4 TEs 79 / 12
2 RBs 33 / 3

Gotta like the way he uses EVERYBODY

Add to that the ground game

Kyren 211 / 1030 / 4.9 / 10 TDs
Corum 112 / 621 / 5.5 / 5 TDs
Rivers 8 / 41 / 5.1
Puka 8 / 81 / 10.1 / 1 TD
Whittington 3 / 12 / 4.0

The 61 yard FGA was a prayer, a hail mary kick.

Could not disagree more on that comment.

Myers 57-yard-FG earlier in that game would have been good from 65 yards.

Over the last two seasons, Myers is 18-of-24 on FGAs from 50-yards-plus and has connected from 59 and 57.

Hardly a Hail Mary; and if your prayers are being answered at a 75% clip, please say a prayer for me.

I think TFerg can be used as our redzone weapon personally in Adams absence.. He seems to have outstanding hands and gets open. He and Staff just need to be on the save wavelength.

What’s his percentage on kicks over 60 yards?

*edit: found it myself

Myers is not a good kicker from long distance (1-of-5 at 60+ and 3-of-8 beyond 57) and making a 61-yard attempt to win the game was never really all that realistic.
