Seattle knows this is their shot for the #1 seed.

They will be ready, fired up… It will be their Superbowl in many ways.

Sucks we probably don’t have Adams. Opportunity for a creative game plan cranking up Tutu and Ferguson and see how it goes.
I agree and furthermore, I think Seattle was looking past Indy and game planning for the Rams since they whooped up on the dirty bids.

With this weather just run the damn ball and stop the run. I'd take our big nasties over theirs all day long.
Sounds Good.

The Rams are 9th best in the NFL in rushing-yards per-game (101); holding opponents to 3.9 yards-per-rush.

Seattle is the 3rd best (92); holding opponents to 3.8.

I am not disagreeing. I just think the Seahawks are really good. The Rams won a few weeks ago because Myers missed a 61-yard-FGA. The same guy that made a 57-yard-FG earlier in the game that would have been good from 65 yards. The same guy that kicked Six FGs two days ago, including two from 50-yards-Plus.

Seattle out-gained the Rams by 165 yards, and had 26 1st downs to the Rams 12. Stafford had his lowest yardage and completion percentage for the season. The Rams Plus-3 Turnover-Differential was the key.

All I am saying is the Rams are REALLY GOOD ... and ... Seattle is ALMOST AS GOOD.

The Rams game clearly changed Darnold's play, changed the way the Seahawks want Darnold to play or changed the way defenses play vs Darnold.

Category: The 9 games previous / The 4 games after the Rams.

Completion Percentage: 71.1% / 61.0%
Completions/Attempts: 18 of 25/ 18 of 29
TD passes: 17 / 5
Interceptions: 6 / 1
Fumbles lost: 4 / 1
Yards per game: 251.3 / 223.0
QB rating: 116.5 / 95.0
Sacked: 10 / 8
Points per game: 30.6 / 27.8

He's now getting sacked twice a game, where previously it was 1.1. He's completing 10% less of his passes. He's averaging 28 less passing yards per game. His QB rating has dropped like a lead balloon (21.5). On the plus side, he's not turning the ball over as much. Seattle is scoring 3 points less per game but keep in mind, their opponents have been extremely weak (Tennessee, Minnesota, Atlanta and Indianapolis).

The weather possibly being shitty is interesting...it would seem ot favors them...but then again their oline has been struggling

Their best offense is shots downfield to JSN...which is going to be tough if its rainy and windy

.

If the Rams lose this game and the whiners win out, the whiners will be the #1 seed.

So this make this game a must win for the Rams.
When you are tied with a team and have a one game lead over another team, both in your division, EVERY game is fooking important and a must win. If you want to win the division and earn the #1 seed. Last week's game with Detroit was equally important and next weeks game at Atlanta will be equally important too. No need to chew our nails, rub our hands raw or develop any other nervous ticks. They're all fooking important from here on out until the season has ended.

And before anyone from the living in the past crowd suggests, "well, if we would have beaten Carolina like we should have, we wouldn't be in this postion", know this....that's bullshit. We'd still be in this position. And speaking of "that loss" to Carolina, show me a 2025 contender who hasn't had a slip up.

Seattle lost to Tampa (now a .500 club)
San Fran lost to Tampa
Houston lost to Tampa
Chicago lost to Minnesota
Green Bay lost to CAROLINA
New England lost to Las Vegas
Denver lost to Indy
Jacksonville lost to Cincinnati
LA Chargers lost to the Giants and Commodes
Philly lost to the Giants
Buffalo lost to Atlanta

It happens. It's the NFL. The nice thing is, it's all in front of the Rams. Win, keep winning and you'll get where you need to be.

Agree. I definitely noticed the difference with Lake being out. Wallace finally played a decent game, but until the lions game he was unimpressive.

The Rams need to keep scoring—
30+ and the sooner the score them the better.

Tough task vs their defense, yes, but it’s the most comfortable way to win this game. Making darnold play from behind vs this defense is where the Rams want them.

I do not think a tight game favors the Rams given the short week and a big win.

The seahawks got caught peeking ahead last week and were lucky to get away with it. They will be ready for the Rams.
This is a big game, so get ready for Darnold to choke! We need to come at him with 5 rushers to hit him instead of just 4.

This applies to any game. No one wants their team to get injured. It’s okay to have confidence and root for a win.
Agreed, although I wouldn't say my post wasnt confident, considering I believe we still win the super bowl even if we lose at Sea and still have to play an extra playoff game for doing so. But at the same time, we all know there are teams out there who can lose players and can keep on racking up wins, we are unfortunately not that team. Our health is more vital to us winning the SB than the number of wins on the way there. We could always get injuries in the final two games, or the first playoff game we play if we do not get the 1st seed, but playing in Sea this time of year against their defense seems like a tougher challenge, personally, than what we would face in the first rd of the playoffs and deff more than the last two games of the year.

One thing that has become apparent in recent weeks. Nacua is the best receiver in the NFL. Hands down. 1A. Nobody can do all the things he does. Seabags will have no answer.
I have been saying that, and that was BEFORE these last two monster games. There isn’t a WR that does EVERYTHING as well as Nacua. There isn’t a WR better than him at any one thing, only as good. Until the last two games, the Rams weren’t using him on deep routes as much. McVay must have started that due to Adams’ hammy issues. That double move up the right sideline is a pass Stafford has been throwing to Adams on the left side all year.
My point is the only thing Nacua could be knocked for was not being a deep threat. We have just seen exhibits A and B the last two games.

Whats funny is I am so spoiled that he comes down with anything he gets his hands on, that I’m shocked when he doesn’t—no matter how difficult the catch. Additionally, I find myself more disappointed than is probably fair when someone else doesn’t make those difficult catches because I know if it had been Puka…

Are we seeing Deja vu in ‘25? I hope so.

I love the idea of sending five rushers at him more often. He will likely have some success early, but once we see his check downs and escape throws, he’s finished.

This game is HUGE. However, the season does NOT end Thursday night, one way or the other.

I think we win in Seattle but lots more can and will happen.....

They gotta decent amount of pressure on Stafford in the first game. If we do a little better and Stafford takes care of the ball, I really like our chances. It’s gonna be a playoff atmosphere. Gonna be a great test.

Really interested to see how McVay calls this game. We ran a lot of 13 personnel last time but outside of 1-2 drives, they pretty much shut it down. And that was with Higbee in the lineup.
I believe Hav was fighting an ankle and not at his best. We are better now. They are screwed.

Rams offense is 8th in rushing yards, Shecocks are 22nd. 4.7 yards per carry to 3.9. And our rushing attack has only gotten better as the season has progressed.

I really don't think the rain will be a real factor and the wind at 10-20 mph shouldn't be that big of a deal and if anything, should affect Darnold far more than Stafford.
