The reality is - if we had won that game, there'd still be some glaring concerns. At the same time, I think, despite the flaws, we saw a team that went toe-to-toe with arguably the best team in the AFC. We showed grit in a bad weather game. That is encouraging.

Regardless, this was one of the most heartbreaking regular season losses in recent memory.

I thought Noteboom was up and down. Some good snaps, some not good snaps. Considering that Ravens d-line, not too bad. But not what we are paying for. I love Noteboom as your top depth o-lineman. The first guy off the bench that can fill in at almost any spot along the o-line. That's very valuable. But he isn't a starter. I cannot believe we gave him that contract. Add that to my earlier vent.

It's on McVay to take the gloves off and get critical about the officials. No more Mr. nice Guy. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Yes, of course. We were hardly destroyed by them as many insisted would be the case.

I dunno guys. I thought the Ravens played very poorly. They could have crushed us even if Lamar just stopped missing wide open receivers deep every second play. How many huge plays did Jackson miss? But the Rams could not take advantage as we were too busy sabotaging ourselves.

Stafford not watching the clock in fucking OT is unforgivable. He missed an open Williams the previous play underneath. Not happy that McVay didn't save the penalty by calling time out but clock management is a QB responsibility. Period.

Very disappointing end. But on the flip side these young players all over the roster just went toe to toe with a top contender in December. There are a ton of positives to take away.
I don't agree with this. We've had the issue with Goff, Wolford, Perkins, Rypien, Stafford - doesn't matter who we have in at QB, clock management has always been an issue with this team since McVay took over. We're running up on an expired play clock about 95% of the time. His timeout usage is head scratching at times. His challenges are often a waste of a timeout. When does this responsibility fall on McVay, the head coach of the team who should be watching the play clock while his QB is getting everyone on the line situated?

Staff was yelling to hike the ball but nobody could hear. Not much of an excuse, since we should have something in place for that, but....

Also Stafford was calling for the ball to be snapped with time still on the play clock. The ball just never got snapped. When the camera panned to McVay right after you could see him mouthing “Snap the Ball!”

Exactly this idea that he was just totally unaware of the time on the clock is fiction. He was calling for the snap. That’s also why McVay didn’t call a timeout because he could see Stafford calling for the snap with time still on the play clock.

Not really going to blame the refs, and yes missed calls and some holding should have been called at points. However we stopped them in overtime and got the ball. One good drive for a TD or FG and game is over Rams win. Couldn't get a first down. Terrible Offensive execution on our overtime Offensive possession.

We were 6 total plays from dominating the ravens. 3 touchdowns were due to poor long coverage.

Like damn near every game this season, the Rams gave it away. Questionable playcalling when it mattered, terrible clock management throughout the McVay era, our quarterback missing easy throws, defense shitting the bed at the end of regulation, special teams coming back to haunt us again. No other words other than McVay deserves all the criticism he gets.

Tough loss. But sounds like you are not remembering the great things that happened today. Surely you aren't advocating a change at head coach?
