Fuck me. Tough loss. Lots of holding. Heart Rate isn't even close to normal yet.
Something tells me our Oline, that has shown they struggle with great pass rushing Dlines, got a few no calls. I don't remember us getting called for holding either.

How I REALLY feel? You WANT me to tell you how I really feel? I scared the poor dog and poor cats - and hell, probably even the poor fucking fish - at my parents' house with the last play. I made my sister - my sister who just visited for Utah, and I don't know when I'm going to see her again in person - AND my nephew cry. I made my parents mad at me and tell me they don't ever want me in the house if I'm watching football again.

THAT'S how I really fucking feel. I want a lot of people gone, Chatarius (screw his nickname) Atwell can suck my tits as well (he did nothing the entire game, just a horrible, HORRIBLE second round pick, a joke when we could've had Humphrey or Bolton or anyone who can get on the kid's rollercoaster without being too small for it), and when I finally had hope, thought, maybe, just maybe, we can overcome these weaknesses, they fucking blow it with something new: a fucking punt return touchdown in overtime - with THEIR FUCKING BACKUP PUNT RETURNER.

Our secondary sucks - aside from maybe Lake or Durant and Yeast; yes, I still want Kendrick gone (and hey, maybe we get a fifth round pick for him; the only reason I don't say a FOURTH is because apparently, we suck at that.) because he's a yappy little dog who gives up big play after big play - and I'm honestly shocked the refs didn't give him a taunting penalty with some of those; I've seen enough from Witherspoon to know he's not the answer, the safeties all had a lousy game (Fuller especially; the only reason I'm not giving up on Yeast is because he's overperforming his draft value as a seventh round pick, but Fuller should really be smarter than what he showed today; he's a fucking veteran and he played like it was his first fucking high school game).

Reeder should not be on the fucking field EVER. Give me Rozeboom or Hummel or Hampton or SOMEONE who actually can play football and cover.

Defensive line and edge rushers...I'm done with Hoecht, I'm done with Jonah Williams, I'm done with Murchison, Kier Thomas hasn't done shit, EB4 can't even get on the field, Mathis has consistently gotten no pressure, at least Hampton had one play, but he shouldn't be on the outside either. Give me Brian Burns or Chase Young or Josh Allen or SOMEONE who is young and worth a long-term contract in free agency. And FUCK no on Danielle Hunter.

And honestly, I HATE to say this, but free Aaron Donald. Get him on the Steelers like he obviously wants, take the 2024/2025 first round draft picks, move on. Will it suck in the short term? Did the Ramsey trade suck in the short term? Yeah, it did and it will, but we can rebuild this defense - hopefully with Raheem taking a head coaching job (HAH! Like that's gonna happen) and putting someone in worth a damn, who ISN'T Brandon Staley.

I want to rebuild the O-line. The only people who should be starting are A-Jax and Avila. Deal Havenstein to whomever for a third, put A-Jax over to the right side where he belongs. Oh, and fuck Noteboom and Allen; jettison them into the fucking sun for all I care. Let Shelton go; that fucking redzone false start was a killer. If Dotson's willing to stay, sure, but if he's asking for the moon, let him go as well. I want O-LINE picks. A center worth a damn. An elite left tackle. Hell, I'll even take a great guard.

But yeah, I see a lot of problems, and no easy solution.

THAT'S how I fucking feel. I'm pissed. We HAD chances, we fucked ALL of them up.
I don't get your Aaron Donald comments. I have never heard him say he wants to play for the Steelers, assuming they even want him with the salary that he'll demand.. Sorry Memento, comparing the loss of Aaron Donald with the loss off Ramsey is like comparing apples and prickly pear. AD is a once in two generations player who has played his whole career with this team. I will be devastated if he doesn't retire a Ram.

Thought the same, too. Guess they figured the weather was shitty and agreed to look the other way on those.

Yup. I don't think I saw a single offensive holding flag all game? And Baltimore has some dudes that can rush. No way our guys held up all game without a single hold. Does anyone really think Noteboom is capable of that? The refs let them play in the trenches. It was frustrating as heck to watch our defensive limemen getting mugged. But I am sure Ravens fans were pulling their own hair out as well when we had the ball. The missed block in the back is a fair gripe. The reffing in the trenches seemed fine to me on the whole. There were a select few holds though, one or two, that I thought were so egregious a flag really had to be thrown but was not. But they didn't change the game.

Maybe I need to stop following the GDT thread during the game. Some of you were quitting on the team in the first quarter. Negativity is such a downer.
I gave up on the GDT years ago. Join us in the gameday chat, we are mostly positive. With the exception of the dallas game.

The reality is - if we had won that game, there'd still be some glaring concerns. At the same time, I think, despite the flaws, we saw a team that went toe-to-toe with arguably the best team in the AFC. We showed grit in a bad weather game. That is encouraging.

Regardless, this was one of the most heartbreaking regular season losses in recent memory.
With this coaching, this will just harden the team further. You go thru the tough together no finger pointing and looking for ways to get better.

The refs are so full of shit. I saw at least twenty holds on offense and defense. They were mugging our D-linemen the whole fucking game, they were mugging our receivers the whole fucking game, and two fucking blocks in the back on the winning punt return. So full of motherfucking elephantshit.

But I want to leave Jordan Fuller, Raheem Morris, Chase Blackburn, and - especially - Joseph "Shitstile" - because "turnstile" just doesn't quite describe how awful he played - Noteboom in Baltimore. And Brian Allen. The fuck is he on the team for? In case Shelton gets hurt? He can't even see the field, he sucks so much. Shelton isn't the long-term answer, and Allen sure as shit isn't either.ew coaching staff as well.
Just try a snickers.

You're right. Let's just call it what it is, the refs kept their flags in the pockets for most of the game, both ways. We actually benefitted from some calls early on.

As we vent...let's not forget the Rams CANNOT stub their toe in any of these next 3 games...Commodes, Saints, and Giants.

That would put the Rams at 9-7 going into the last games at the 49ers. The Packers and Vikes are in front of the Rams.
Packers should be in they have easiest path. We would need to get by the Vikings which is doable they have Lions x2 Bengals & GB. We have Saints NYG, Wash & Niners. Vikes are a game ahead so we have longest odds of the 3

They're both HOF players, let's be honest. And our secondary has been the reason we've lost a lot of games, so we honestly haven't replaced Ramsey either.

Just try a snickers.
Let me vent in peace. I think I've earned that because I don't usually go on these threads. I've had a bad month, and it's not getting better, so please just let me have this.

We only have 9ers one more time, right?

Honestly, I'm more pissed off that this team gives us hope during games like this and absolutely frustrates us with games like Cinci and Pittsburgh. What does McVay always say? "Consistency is the truest measurement of performance." What does that say about a team who cannot consistently beat the bad teams but instead competes against the better ones? No clue because none of it makes sense.

At this point I don't want to hear about our playoff potential. This team isn't ready to compete for anything this year.
You have noticed that the 3 games before this, the Rams won games they should win and won 1 most people thought they shouldn't. Then this game they played well enough to win. I think this team is playing pretty consistent the last 4 games. Steadily improving.

The difference being that Ramsey is a great corner, while AD might be the best 3 Tech DT that has ever been.
