I think you might see Rypien come back to the PS after he clears waivers.

Surely he clears waivers doesn't he?

Those first couple pass attempts by Rypien had me wishing for Wolford. How messed up is that?
I was worried those Green Bay hunters would mistake several of those wobbly passes for a duck and blast it!

Wtf is mcvay doing? This is honestly embarrassing.
It does seem like a bit of a clown show. We’re half way thru the season - How could you not see this in practice. Stafford gets hurt alll the time. So it’s not like you could expect to never have to use your backup QB. Even the most reliable injury free QB is one play away from the sidelines. Just kind of looks bad from a roster management side of things. Especially at the most important position. Weird

LA Rams Transactions:• Waived, No Recall DT Cory Durden, RB Myles Gaskin, QB Brett Rypien• Terminated (by Club) from Practice Squad QB Dresser Winn
That’s a lot of moves. There should be one open spot right?

Cutting Durden could mean that Bobby Brown is back?

At the moment, I think there are two open roster spots on the 53-man roster.
If true, activate Btown and Kyren when possible. Move Hampton to PS (nobody will take him) and move up a back up RB.

Not wanting to put words in your mouth but are you 'bout to argue that Wentz is not better than Rypien and/or Winn? Combined even...?
That wasn’t my point. I know Rypien sucks, but so did the rest of the world. It seems dumb and mean to sign him, have him start and then cut him the week after for a bad performance. Like what did he expect? To light it up? This is really amateurish.

Wow, so the Rams waived Myles Gaskin who didnt even get to dress.
So basically he didnt even get a cup of coffee with the team, more like just a cup of shut the fuck up

I hope that Wentz's legs are in shape so he can run for his life!
At this point we might be better off going with three RBs and two TEs with a direct snap to a RB on every play.
Debated going with blue font with this post, but no.

Usually, players on short-term-IR enter a "window" (I believe it's three weeks) to practice before the Rams have to decide whether to activate them to the 53. They also have to sit-out at least 4 weeks.

Brown and Williams have not yet had their "windows" opened or started.

Hunter Long had his window to practice open almost two weeks ago; so, perhaps, he will be added to the 53.

Rams waive Cory Durden, Myles Gaskin in flurry of roster moves

The Los Angeles Rams are off this week for their bye but they’ve kept busy. On Tuesday, the team made a flurry of moves.
In addition to signing Carson Wentz and waiving both Brett Rypien and Dresser Winn, the Rams cut Cory Durden and Myles Gasking from the active roster. It hasn’t been revealed whether Wentz is going on the active roster or practice squad, but regardless, the Rams have three available spots between the roster and practice squad now.

Durden helped fill in for Bobby Brown III at nose tackle, playing a handful of snaps the last few weeks. Gaskin was signed off the Vikings’ practice squad after Kyren Williams went down but he never got a carry.

Rypien started Sunday’s game against the Packers and Winn only spent a week on the practice squad before being cut.
