Alex Mack left a huge hole and if you take the average starting Center in the NFL they are averaging being drafted in the late 3rd round.
With the Browns I felt that they needed a franchise QB, a game breaking realiable WR, and a Center that will be capable of running the offense they will be using up in the cold North the next 2-5 years. Thinking Max Tuerk will suit that at the very least of average. More than likely a consistent above average which is what you need with a new QB.

It was a bit of a reach but I felt like that was a hole that need vs value was a close enough fit for the rebuild at the Factory of Sadness!

Ps I didn't really like my next options..

I don't think thier draft is Matt Millen bad!

Found this pick interesting as they drafted a center in the 1st Round last year in Cameron Erving. Not saying Tuerk is a bad pick as Erving struggled last year. When the whole Browns team is swiss cheese, it's hard to say any move is good or bad, just likely at sometime it will mold in the Factory of Sadness.
