Robert Nkemdiche, DE, Ole Miss​

Nkemdiche was the best player on my board at this point. The Steelers need someone to take snaps from Cameron Heyward and Stephon Tuitt, and also pass rush in their 2-4-5 nickel defense (70% of snaps). Who better to do this then Nkemdiche? He's a highly athletic, disruptive playmaker that fits exactly what the Steelers look for in their defensive linemen. This gives Pitt an incredibly dangerous rotation of DEs to help cover for their secondary, which should be better just because Antwon Blake (the Justin King of the Steelers) is not on the team anymore. Steelers definitely have a front 7 to be feared with the additions of Nkemdiche and recently acquired Connor Barwin.

Shhhhh!!! lol. I like Carroo more on the outside though, Sharp though is still a nice mid round option. Really hadn't expected Shepard to go that early so have to look deep now for a plan B.

I didnt imagine Boyd falling to my slot in the 2nd but thought Shepard would. But I'm know many didnt think Hunter would go 22nd either. Shepard reminds me of a twitchier Bailey. Think the next guy on my big board my might make it to my slot, but i am willing to move up for him if anyone wants to trade back a few slots.

That's the kind of thing that made me decide to not list ILB plus OLB and just go with LB. Last year I listed them twice in each category but that took too much work on my part and skewed the numbers when I gave totals for each position. If there's doubt I'll use CBS, NFL.COM and Walter football and use the consensus. I don't know if I did that on this guy so I'll double check to try and make the list as accurate as possible.
