I will evaluate (re-evaluate) honestly and openly and if I'm wrong will admit it. I've seen the play, Ramsey turns to cover Chase and has his back turned when Donald catches Burrow. Ramsey falls, gets up, and celebrates.
Kurtfaulk posted the video that follows Ramsey with Donald/Burrow synced picture-in- picture style. RamsofCastamere screen capped where you can see Donald smothering Burrow and Ramsey has his head turned around looking at them. You can't watch that version of the video or see that screen cap and say Ramsey wasn't looking. Not honestly anyway.

To be fair, Donald didn't have him on the ground yet but he was all over Burrow enough.

EDIT: The video you just posted, at the 32 second mark, shows the same thing. Ramsey looking at the backfield with Donald wrapped all around Burrow.

Bro you didn't respond when I sent you this. Ramsey is looking at Burrow getting sacked before he trips over Chase's feet.
He still got beat. He's slightly beat there. Had there been no Donald its Touchdown Bengals. Let's not make believe Ramsey stopped due to the sack. Chase beat him in 1st Quarter, and of course on the first play on this drive. One of the most SELFISH and negligent plays I've ever seen from a Corner in a huge spot.

I agree with this though I'm not watching very much football around the league nowadays so not like I'm up to speed on league trends. Seems there is no Deion right now. You have some good young corners that can play on an island but yeah I agree the top wideouts are on a different level. How that got to this point no idea, I assume most of the rare talents are opting for WR nowadays.

Ramsey has always had to use his hands to stay on the quicker types and his reputation for being a top corner has worked in his favor. But I think the difference in today's Ramsey is his makeup speed. He's not as good there any more and that hurts his style of play. Because he's an undisciplined corner who gets caught looking and seems to freelance a bit. He's an artist. So Morris is going to need to get him to play with better discipline and he's also going to need to give him help vs those top draws. Or put him on the guy he can erase and double that top draw.

Either way Ramsey still has game. What has changed is his usage, so part of that is Morris adjusting to it and the other part is Ramsey needing to play with more discipline IMO.
I agree. He's a top all-around corner but he's not the best cover corner anymore. Honestly, I think he will be elite if/when he transitions to free safety. He can cover a wide range and high point balls.

It was 4th and short. Stopping anything short is first priority. He takes the inside position and is squeezing him against the sideline. Burrow's ball would have to be in stride for a possible TD. Chase had to make a diving catch that on that earlier play. Anyone can play the IF game...if a bullfrog had wings it wouldn't bump it's ass.

Fine. Ramsey wasn't SO bad on that play after all. Like you said, I'm starting to look forward to his conversion to Safety

I'll say this...First of all there's some confusion in the secondary. You could see that in both games...and YOU CAN'T LOOK TO RAMSEY TO COVER WEAKNESSES. Those weak spots have to up their game or pack their bags!!!

Ramsey did fall but clearly only after Donald had already caught up with Burtow and begun throwing him around like a rag doll. So it’s clearly settled as to when Ramsey started to fall. Next case please.

Instead of "I look forward to honestly evaluating the information/video you provide and coming to a reasonable conclusion"? Bold choice to make a decision beforehand and stick to it.

Yeah that's pretty amazing isn't it?

I've been one of the biggest Obj guys to the Rams way before it happened soon as the browns cut him and still now I want him back badly on this team. Having said that he has done everything wonderfully model citizen model teammate respect loved earned it all but it does slightly annoy me that he keeps essentially going to the money and to be fair I don't know what the Rams are offering but for me not so much the money I think as it is the way he is asking for it so publicly just puts a little tarnish on it. He deserves to get paid but it's hard without knowing where they at but I just wish he would not make it as public and always throw the money out there. Other than that I want this dude back but just be funny or both parties figure it out but hate that the money thing pops up constantly.

“Ion” - Can someone translate that for?
Not sure if he’s saying he does not want much from us. Or if he’s saying he wants us to offer more.

Not so sure about this. I might avoid placing him 1 on 1 against smaller, shiftier WRs. But he shut down quite a few #1 WRs last season 1 on 1, and I suspect can still do so. Diggs in week 1 is a tough match up for any CB. But Ramsey, in particular, might be better suited to covering other WRs.
Let him play them from the line of scrimmage instead of when they are at full speed 10 yards from the line of scrimmage. He is a bump and run corner back who isn't being put in the best position to do what he does best. Especially now when there is an emphasis on illegal contact. Can you imagine what the greatest show on turf could of done against the Pats is they would have only let them off the line of scrimmage.
